Yeah they are sweet, I also remember how they helped with her carnival, took her out for chocolate shakes in karen's worst day, and went on the ridiculous mcdonalds trip in karen's in love.

Why does the family want a 7 year old to bathe a baby? Also, is it really so wrong to want to avoid a sick person? Most full grown adults have a flip out if someone even sneezes in the same room as them.
Also odd that Karen thinks Chicken Pox is a "Baby Sickness" or whatever

This was super interesting to read right now with vaccination shots, still getting sick with "lesser" symptoms, quarantining, etc.! I assume Andrew had the shot since Karen did, but he also had already had the chickenpox. So...? Hannie's grapefruit with lemon juice idea made my stomach clench a little. Karen, Hannie, and Nancy picked farm animals as their costumes. (Chicken, cow, and party sheep respectively.) They picked those over "wacky vegetables," which I would like to more about. When they finally figured out that Emily wanted to be a goat then Kristy magically pulled out her The Book of the Goat book that she just happened to own. Lol. (Oh, and Watson was a farmer to take the girls trick or treating, but then went out with only Emily since Karen was sick. No mention at all of Andrew or David Michael.) Sam sounds like every bit the over achiever as Kristy. Class president, math club, school band, multiple after school jobs. What did Charlie ever do besides sports? It has been said many times already, but Kristy and the adults were so assy to Karen in this. She was really sick, grumpy, disappointed about missing out on so many cool things that week, did I mention sick, and suddenly they couldn't stop harassing her about being Emily's caretaker. I had to add the cover art to comment on the decorations. These look super cheap for Watson's house. I think those are some Dollar Tree decals stuck to the wall. (I like Pumpkin batting at the black cat one.) I enjoy that jack-o-lantern garland going up the banister. That is the smallest welcome mat I have ever seen.
