LOL, now Kylie that was funny! Karen could be so stubborn! I loved this book and how Mr. Kelly was nice enough to fix Pudding for Natalie. I loved the maypole project that Karen and Natalie did together. Very interesting.

I agree, they did chose an interesting project. I wonder what holidays the others did?

That would have been interesting to know more about.

Yup would have been very interesting to know about, but I pretty much had an idea of what the project was about.

This was a sweet one. Agreed with the comments about Mr. Kelly I just don't know why Natalie would name a doll PUDDING...lol

I bet she'd heard it as a sort of nickname when she was little and then applied it to her doll.

My husband and I call our cat Pudding but I would never have used it for a doll --- and it is the cat's nickname! lol

This wasn't one of my favourite LS books. Maybe because it had a lot to do with dolls...
To answer your question above, kylie, I think the only other project they mentioned was on Ann Arbor Day, which is a US holiday.

And I take it all the other projects were probably more well known ones...

^ I think the project was to pick a holiday you didn't know much about (although I'm not 100% sure). We only hear about Hank and Bobby's project because one of them was sick on the day of the presentation.
Did anyone else think Karen was a b*tch to Natalie always telling her to pull up her socks. Who cares!? It's one thing for a teacher or parent to mention it, but it's an entirely other thing for a peer to mention it. Karen even says it during their presentation! Poor Natalie!

I remember the illustrations and thought Natalie was much more prettier than Karen anyways. She's jealous I don't know if the work was divided properly or not, Karen was all about writing and Natalie about making the maypole, some team work would have helped. And yeah, it was to pick a holiday you didn't know about.
