Thought it'd be fun to discuss what kind of career the sitters would end up having. And it's not just the sitters, the kids they sit for.
Kristy-softball coach or something in business/marketing industry with a leadership role.
Stacey: accountant or broker.
Claudia: Artist or fashion/Jewellery designer
Dawn: can easily see her as an environmentalist activist.
Mallory: A writer of some kind. Maybe she ends up as a journalist. I can't see her as an author of kid's books to be honest.
Jessi: Ballet teacher after retiring from becoming a world famous ballet dancer.
Mary-Anne: teacher of elementary school kids.
Logan: probably a sports coach since he's such a jock. Or even a sports writer for a newspaper or magazine.
Karen: Something that lets her use her outdoor voice all the time. Circus ringmaster?br]
Charlotte: I can see her as a lawyer
Jackie: He'll have many jobs and probably be fired from most of them considering he's the walking disaster.
Too many other characters to list!

Kristy I can see as a school principal because it combines her two favorite things: kids and being in charge

livvy, I really like the idea of Claudia as a jewelry designer. I bet she would have a well-curated Instagram and many followers.

I like the idea of Stacey as a broker. She's smart and well-connected enough to be a big player in finance. Her mom was a buyer for a department store so she's got it in her blood.
I'd love to see Jackie prove everyone wrong and become a professional stuntman or something. He's willing to try anything and the surefootedness could come later in life, haha.

I see Stacey and Claudia both living in NYC together. Stacey has her MBA from Stern at NYU and works in marketing for a store or fashion label. Claudia has her own jewelry line with a huge Instagram following and applies to complete on Project Runway with her clothing designs!

Claudia would be sooo good on Project Runway. She has such a distinct style. I'd love to see the episode where Tim Gunn visits Stoneybrook to check on the final collection.

I can totally see Charlotte as a librarian! Not sure which kind though since a reference librarian is like a "detective" and a children's librarian would be great for her.
Kristy I can see as a school principal because it combines her two favorite things: kids and being in charge I can totally see this! I know a couple of the other girls have said that Kristy is the best with the kids and understands them the most.

I could see Claudia as a stylist more than a designer. She was good at creating with what was already there. I can't really picture her sitting down at a sewing machine.

She became interested in the sewing arts in Maid Mary Anne, though. She’s pretty dedicated and I could see her regarding it as a necessary part of design as she got older.

I remember one episode in the early seasons where the designers were sent to the Hershey store in Times Square and had to make a design out of all the candy there. Like that sounds like a dream project for Claudia! Also a good point of Claudia working as a stylist. She likes to put looks together but I can see her at least designing jewelry because that's something she was into, making everyone earrings. |

I don't think Kristy is going to become a CEO. I agree on the school principal thing, or a daycare worker or an elementary school teacher. I can't imagine her not working with kids.
I think Mary Anne would just have kind of a normal office job, but if she could be a SAHM, I think she would.
Claudia would probably work various retail jobs and sell art and jewelry on Etsy on the side. I imagine her struggling quite a bit but eventually finding her niche.
Stacey would be among the most financially successful, working on finance and perhaps modeling on the side. But I imagine her burning out too, for some reason, and realizing she's now like her father than she realized.
I can imagine Dawn joining the Peace Corps, then maybe opening a vegan (she'd probably go that route eventually) or health food restaurant.
I can't imagine Jessi doing anything other than ballet. She'd dance professionally until her early 30s, then become a ballet teacher.
Mallory would be an editor or a journalist. Maybe write articles online. Eventually, she would write a book. Tbh I can't imagine her working with kids because I think she'd had enough of that growing up and might not even have kids herself.
Drawing a blank for Abby and idk why. PE teacher?
Logan would be a manager at a grocery store or something.
Shannon would be a college professor. Not sure which subject.

Omg I love Dawn opening a vegan restaurant! I was stumped on what she would do too. Abby I agree with gym teacher or maybe a soccer coach or sports doctor?
Doesn't Logan's dad own a sporting goods store? I can see Logan doing that.
