If you were in the BSC, which club position would you have liked?
President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Alternate Officer Junior Member
Not including associate members 'cause they don't really do anything anyway (although come to think of it, the juniors don't get to do much either...)
I'm not really sure what I would have liked. I'm in a student business in school and my position is Head of Marketing (pity there isn't a job like that in the BSC!)... but maybe in the BSC, I'd try being Secretary 'cause I like writing.
What would you do?

Maybe secretary, too, because I like writing and keeping track of things and stuff as well. I'd probably feel guilty in other positions because only MA and Stacey really do anything...

I think I would like to be secretary. It seems kind of fun to keep everything organized. Although being treasurer might be okay... in one of the books I just read (Mystery #11 I think... cause they were having one of their non-meeting meetings to discuss some issue), they are talking about how much money is in the treasury and Stacey says she left it at home... she gets to take it home?! Sweet. I wonder if she's ever helped herself to a few bucks? Oh but then again, would they really trust Claudia to keep their money safe in her room? I guess this means MA takes the record book home? Does the notebook stay at Clauds? wow I'm really veering off topic... anyway, I'd be secretary I think Or maybe Alternate officer cause Dawn REALLY didnt have to do s-hit

It's really odd because most of my BSC books are UK editions and they say that Kristy is the Chairman and Claudia is the Vice-Chairman! For a v long time, I thought that was what the club positions were! I don't understand why the publishers thought that we wouldn't know what a president was

President- definitely president.......although I wouldn't be a time-nazi like Kristy, lol, nor would I make the other members do lame things like wear sandwich boards to school.
What can I say, I'm kinda bossy. I actually co-chair (lol- yep, we use the term "chair" instead of president too!) a volunteer group at the moment.

Alternate officer cause I'm lazy and wouldn't have to do much but I'd look really smart cause I'd have to know how to do everything just in case. I'd pick jr. officer but sitting on the floor making gum wrapper chains doesn't seem so glamorous.

Realistically, Treasurer. Ideally, Alternate Officer, because I too am lazy. But I wouldn't complain on the rare occassions that I had to do anything. Looking at you, Dawn.

ooh good point sparklymouse, definitely not a jr. officer. I'd prefer a seat on the bed or even Claudia's desk chair (turned backwards, of couse).

^But you'd also have to have everyone in your room three times a week.

What was up with the other members making Jessi and Mallory sit on the floor?! Pretty selfish cows not to even ask the two of them if they'd like to sit on the bed or on a chair for a change.

Pssh, they were the newbies, where else would they go? I may not be remembering this correctly, but I'm sure that Dawn had to act as President on the few occasions Kristy couldn't. Wouldn't it have made more sense for Claudia to do that, seeing as she's VICE- president? I mean, she pretty much has no point otherwise, it's just a fancy sounding but useless title!

Haha initially I thought Claudia did nothing but when I think about it, she did do a couple of things. Claudia's duties as Vice President are to -
1) Answer the phone during non-meeting times and call each available member to tell them about the job. 2) Give up her room 3 times a week. 3) Provide snacks for the meeting (she even bought snacks especially for diabetic Stacey and food nazi Dawn).

^But you'd also have to have everyone in your room three times a week. If I lived in Stoneybrook, though, I'd probably have a wealthy lawyer father that could afford a house with giant bedrooms.....so I think it would be okay.

President. I love to be in charge of things. I was the President of my college student government and at one point I tried to (jokingly) call the meetring to order like Kristy would. Nobody got it.
