In my town, we have an old opera house that has been closed for as long as I can remember. Maybe the BSC would solve a crime involving a "ghost" there.

I think it's hilarious that alls ya'lls were talking about the State Fairs just a page ago. I just went to my first ever state fair. Only it was after I moved away, so not only was I attending my first state fair, I was attending an Alaskan State Fair. And it was "interesting".
I can see Claudia getting sucked into taking pictures of the flower exhibits and the Giant Produce exhibit, and Dawn bitching at people about the Pony Rides and the fact that they were auctioning off a pig (and all the other stuff that goes on with the animal exhibits). Other than that, though, I can't imagine the girls at a fair. Maybe Kristy running a booth for some crazy cause of the month and Mary Anne or Stacey fallling in LuV with someone; Mallory having some issue and Jessi being in a dance show.
After I learn more about Alaska, I will probably find things for them to do. right now, I've pretty much seen the state fair and the grocery store and a few parties.

I can see Claudia getting sucked into taking pictures of the flower exhibits and the Giant Produce exhibit I actually did this at my local fair this last weekend, but the produce was normal sized.

I lived in Austin for several years...the girls would all find fun and educational things to do there! Kristy and Abby could take in a UT football game, and Stacey and Claudia would go and hang around for the cute college boy factor (and I'm reminded of when she says "Touchdown! The crowd goes wild!" at a baseball game in SS #14 ). Claudia would visit all the art museums--there is a great one on campus called the Blanton that she'd probably love. If anyone is interested in presidential history, they could go to the Lyndon B. Johnson museum, which is really cool. Probably Mary Anne would like the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, and the French Legation because it's historical. Stacey...she'd go to the malls, and she and Claud would go shopping on Guadalupe and Congress Avenue. Claudia would like all the funky vintage shops. Maybe they would go look for some chilly cowboy boots at Allens. Dawn would organize a lakefront bike ride and picnic. She and Claudia (who would approve of the city's eclectic and creative spirit) would buy those tie-dyed "Keep Austin Weird" T-shirts. She would like Casa de Luz, a good vegetarian/vegan restaurant, and appreciate the fact that Whole Foods began in Austin. The meat-eaters would definitely have to experience Texas BBQ at places like Stubb's and The Iron Works. They could also all go to Moonshine, which is a restaurant I love. There is Ballet Austin for Jessi. Maybe she would also like to do touristy stuff with Mary Anne, like visit the State Capitol, appreciate the beautiful Driskill Hotel (Dawn would like hearing about its haunted history), and tour the UT campus. Maybe since Abby is into music, she'd like to visit the studios on campus where they film Austin City Limits, and shop at record stores like Waterloo and Antone's. Mal would probably like visiting the Harry Ransom Center because they house a lot of the archives and rare artifacts of famous writers, and she could see all the handwritten manuscripts. They have a lot of art and film memorabilia too, so I could see Claudia and Mary Anne enjoying it. Mary Anne would probably get a kick out of seeing Edgar Allan Poe's writing desk, or the glasses Gloria Swanson wore in Sunset Boulevard. Perhaps Stacey would meet a hot young gentleman cowboy to escort her around the city. Mary Anne had better take extra precautions with the sunscreen and hats, lest she get burned to a crisp in the blazing Texas heat. I'm sure Mal would wear her safari getup and embarrass everyone.

When I lived near Austin, I kept ending up trying to go to the park with my friends when ACL was being set up. We did that at least twice!

Kristy and Abby would like to see a game at the Skydome (Rogers Centre), or maybe see some hockey at the ACC Claudia would like the Art Gallery of Ontario, I think. Stacey would like the Eaton's Centre, because it's a mall, of course:P Mary Anne might like the Royal Ontario Museum, because she was into history in some books. or maybe the Science Centre Dawn would like the Beaches, because you know, that's like her motherland:P She'd also like the botanical gardens, and the many hiking trails, because they're nature-ish. She would NEVER come here in the winter. Jessi would like the place where they have the National Ballet of Canada performances. Mallory would like Shakespeare in the park, because she likes her literature, and it would make her feel dibbly fresh I think they'd all like the CN tower and they'd all like seeing a Broadway show. I don't know what Logan and Shannon like You can all guess where I live now (probably) ;D

hmmm I wonder if the BSC have ever been to canada. I doubt it really but IF they did decide to be my guests in Ottawa, I'd show them all the cool places like the Nature museum, and the Science and Technology museum and an Ottawa Senators hockey game (we usually lose) and then top it off with maybe a day at Winterlude which is like a winter festival that's really cool

London, eh? The possibilities are endless, although some of the girls have already been.
I'm not a fan of football (soccer), however it is very important to most people here, so I would take Abby and Kristy to see a football match at Emirates.
I'd take Claudia to the Tate Modern and then we'd go to Beyond Retro, an absolutely incredible vintage clothing store.
Dawn would accompany me to the Borough Market - absolutely love it! Massive food market, all organic produce, it's wonderful!
It's already been done, but Stacey and I would hit the shops in Kensington and she'd see exactly how expensive Harrods really is!
MA would be taken on the tourist things, including a boat ride on the Thames.
Jessi could pay a visit to the Royal Ballet School and I'd take Mallory to this cafe / bookshop near me called Departure, which is an independent second hand bookstore, which has poetry readings and all sorts. Very cool, chilled out place.

If the girls visited my town, they would only care about going to see a baseball game at the park that used to be Candlestick park (because I can't remember what it is now... ATT park?), and Dawn would go to the Exploratorium and go "hurr hurr hurr, I don't know what an earthquake feels like!". And nothing else would hardly be mentioned!! Okay, technically I live in San Jose, not San Francisco, but you get the point.

The Winchester Mystery House is in San Jose; Dawn would probably be intrigued by that I wanted to go there when I was living in NorCal.
