Yuck! Turtlenecks are horrid! They are so uncomfortable (on me), and 98% of them look bad on most people. And they really look bad on my body. But hey, if you can wear them, more power to you!
At one point, my mom tried to make me wear one, and I cut the neck off. My Grandmother understood why I found them uncomfortable, plus I hated to mess up my hair, and she bought me even uglier "mock turtlenecks". Which, when I was a kid were more comfortable, but I still think they are ugly.
But that's just me.

^There is this picture of me in this horrible maroon mock turtleneck and stretch pants that she bought me. It's horrible, and embarrassing. I looked like a really skinny eggplant, with push down socks. *Shudder*

I had the mock turtlenecks, too. ;D They were part of my "uniform" in sixth grade with the leggings but not the super-tight ones. Still won't wear those but do like the looser sweat-type pants a lot more than jeans. I totally dress for comfort (unless I'm going somewhere where I care about how I look or trying to "dress up". Then I still want something pretty comfortable, though. ;D)

^ Totally with you on the dressing for comfort aln. At my high school we weren't allowed to wear t-shirts or jeans or other casual clothes, so when I got to college that was all I wanted to wear.

Norman Hill wouldn't be the only fat kid in Stoneybrook;) I'm sure there's be some plot involving prescription drug abuse like someone taking Adderal or Ritalin unprescribed, but then again Ritalin wasn't exactly unknown in the late 90s.
I'd be curious to see if/how they'd adress September 11th. It'd be a Stacey-narrated storyline I'm sure. It's so weird to see the Twin Towers mentioned whenever Stacey is in New York!
I bet Karen would be super-obsessed with Harry Potter, probably changing her view on Morbidda Destiny and pestering her for a broomstick or something.

We know the girls as their 80s/90s selves, with day-glo sweatshirts, famous cities skirts, sparkly nail polish, etc. What would the girls be like in 2007? I already mentioned in the Mallory's glasses thread that Mallory would complain about not being allowed to get Lasik surgery. Other predictions? **Mary Anne would be all about the reality shows, getting sucked right into the drama. Her cell phone would have Tigger as the wallpaper. **Logan's screenname would be lognluvsma07 I think Mary Anne being in a reality tv show is impossible. She's very shy and hates being the center of attention, and I think her cellphone would have Logan with Tigger as a wallpaper. Your prediction for Logan is really nice though. #common001#

First post on the first page of the thread. **Stacey would have the latest gadgets, prob. a sidekick or blackberry. Guys, we've been doing this so long that even our threads are outdated. Aren't Blackberrys close to being extinct? She'd have an iPhone for sure. She'd probably sleep in full makeup just in case Ethan tried to Facetime her in the middle of the night. Anything else change since this thread was made?

She'd also be sending out email forwards about how to stop global warming, green living, etc. I think this one is a bit outdated now. Dawn would probably be Facebooking the environmental stuff instead of forwarding it in emails.

It would be funny if the some 80s/90s stuff came around again. Then all the times we said they were outdated would be outdated.

Dues wouldn't have been $1. They probably would me more. $1 gets you nothing, unless you want 100 penny candies or something from the dollar store?!
