I was just talking about that with my boss today. Leggins also look great with any body type because you can pair them up with longer tops or skirts. I also mentioned in another thread how many of Claud's clothes would still be fashionable today and used her outfit on Keep Out, Claudia as a good example of such outfit.

I like leggings. I recently bought a few pairs so I could keep wearing some of my skirts throughout winter without freezing. I'm glad they're back "in."

I think Stacey would have a fashion blog and update it daily with her outfits. Dawn would probably be vegan now instead of just vegetarian, and maybe she'd realize how much pollution is generated by her constant flights from Stoneybrook to CA! Mallory would definitely be heavy into an online community about horses or writing or something. I can see her being really obsessed and getting too carried away with a forum/group to the detriment of her offline life.

Oh, and I agree with what sotypical said back in 2007 about Claudia not being smart enough to figure out graphic design/web design, etc..

BSC in 2007? They would be about in their mid-twenties and launching their careers and finishing up any graduate degrees. Mary Anne would be working on her psychology degree and Stacey would be working on her doctorate degree. They'd be living in different states by then, but would be texting, e-mailing as well as ringing up to keep in touch. Every two or three years, they'd have reunions, either in New York City, Stoneybrook, Boston or Minneapolis, which is near where Kristy and Claudia are living. Kristy, Claudia and Mary Anne took a trip to Iraq in the summer of 2005 to visit a friend there who had roomed with Claudia in uni and ended up having a blast, despite the hundred-degree heat and seeing a chicken gutted...Claudia's friend is a butcher and she gutted the dead chicken herself. Claudia and the friend were calm and laughing while Kristy and Mary Anne nearly climbed the wall in grossed-out hysterics, but calmed down and were able to laugh about it as they e-mailed the rest of the BSC the funny story. Stacey and Mallory, by then having settled in the Boston area, periodically have book club meetings in a cafe or fromagerie with a small book group with wine, tea, cheese and small snacks. If Mary Anne and her uni roommate, Mona and her other friend, Ran...who all live in New York City...are either in the Boston area or Stacey and Mal and their group are in NYC, their groups join as one book club group. Once in a while, they all get a bit tipsy with wine and mix up various books and end up laughing. Also in the late summer of 2007...the BSC attended a marriage ceremony of a couple who had befriended Mary Anne, Kristy, Mona and Ran in NYC in their uni years. This couple is a lesbian couple and they were moving to Canada to seal their marriage since 2007 was before gay and lesbian marriage was legalized in the States. The BSC loaned them tons of support in a still-homophobic world and pooled their money together to buy them a few fabulous wedding gifts. Also, they were gearing up to vote for Obama by the autumn of 2008. So...that's my take on what the BSC 2007 were up to. I have more details on their young adult years in their twenties around 2003-2011 here.
