I would have loved Portrait books for them. Mallory, because I love reading about her dorky moments. And Jessi, because...well, she didn't really have any depth in the series. I would like for her to actually have, y'know, character.
Possible stories for them:
Mallory Being made fun of for being geeky. Having some experience at a young age (maybe being forced to babysit due to a family emergeny) that made her feel proud of herself. Having a first crush (that ended badly).
Jessi Her and Keisha getting into some mischief when they were younger. Starting to take ballet. Her and Becca spending time together when they were little.

i think jessi's early dance classes and her move to stoneybrook would both be really interesting to read about. i wonder if she always had so much passion for dance or if she struggled to learn to like it.
as for mallory, i would want to read about the days she got her glasses and braces, or more about her run for class secretary.

As for Mallory's, I think it would be interesting to see more of her extended family. I know it says somewhere that she doesn't see her grandparents often and they live far away, but it seems a little odd to me that they were never mentioned, or appeared, at all (that I remember, anyway). The Pikes just seem like such a close-knit family that it's difficult to imagine Mr. and Mrs. Pike not being close to their parents/siblings. Of course it could have just been the distance thing (or maybe they actually aren't close to their families), but I would still like to know more about that situation. We do at least know that Mr. Pike was close to Uncle Joe, though. I can't think of anything off the top of my head I'd like to know about Jessi, but I would still be very interested to read her Portrait Collection. As far as Becca's birth, I'm not really sure that Jessi would remember that very well; she would have only been 3 years old when Becca was born. I was about 4 and a half when my sister was born, and I don't remember much about it. I guess it's possible, though.

^ But Janine's a genius, so that's why she remembered what happened so well.

I would like to read more about Mallory's interaction with the club members before she was a member. More stuff like what was in Hello, Mallory or maybe a year or two before that. (I picture 9 year old Mallory hiding behind a tree watching the cool 11 year olds in the neighborhood.)
I wouldn't read a Jessi portrait.

I'd also love to read about how Dee and John for that matter handled so many young children, also how Mal and the triplets reacted to yet more siblings. Yeah what did the Pikes ever do before the BSC?
I wish we had gotten to know more about the Pike kids as individuals and seen more of them as a family, spending time together.
Yep, just who did Mal hang out with before Jessi?
No need to read a Jessi Portrait for me either.

Aw, I would read Jessi's. I'd be interested in reading about her life in NJ, plus I like her family (minus Aunt C ;D)

^ I would read Jessi's portrait as well. But I think I would read Mallory's portrait first since she's one of my favorite characters.

I'll love to read Mallory's portrait. Like the earlier years of the Pike family. How they all started going to Sea City in summertime.
For Jessi be interesting to read her portrait, as well. Her moving to Stoneybrook, her family, & etc...
Wonder why, AMM didn't do the portraits of Mallory & Jessi.

^ the autobiographies were assigned to the eighth grade kids. i guess they could have done a school wide project though.

It's interesting that they didn't make it a school-wide project OR give Logan one. I think leaving out Jessi and Mallory kind of parallels how they only got one book each in the mystery series, and Jessi's last book in the regular series is long before it actually ends. Team BSC must have figured out the lowly junior members did not sell books.

I think Mallory's portrait would be boring, but I find most Pike chapters boring so a whole book about them doesn't sound appealing. Maybe something about Sea City, or what school was like for Mal before Jessi and the BSC came along.
Jessi could have a pretty good portrait book though. I would like to read about her relationship with Keisha, her life in New Jersey, and more about her move to Stoneybrook.

^So it would be like "On my first day of school I sat by this sturdy red-haired girl who kept staring at my legs and smiling at me. A few days later I was minding my own business sitting under a tree and the same girl reached around the tree and held my hand. People never treated me like this in Jersey!" I would really want to read that book, seriously. ;D Me too! Come to think of it, the tree interaction was kind of ... weird (but in a sweet way, I guess). I wonder why Jessi and Mal didn't get portrait books (8th grade thing, I know). But maybe Scholastic didn't think they'd sell?
