I had forgotten about Jackie's grasshopper. What book was she mentioned in? That was cute My dad had a "Jackie" moment last night. I heard a loud crash from his bathroom and thought he had dropped something until I asked him later what had happened and he started laughing at himself, saying that he was changing into his shorts and just fell over. I guess he fell right into his closet, down on his knees and everything. I said "having a Jackie sort of day, huh?" and he thought that was funny because he has read a few BSC books (is reading Abby and the Best Kid Ever right now ;D) and always laughs about how much he is a klutz like Jackie.

I want to say that Elizabeth is a boy, but I'm not completely sure.
I have Jackie moments all the time. My first day of college, I managed to fall completely out of bed taking my sheets and comforter with me and later that morning falling out of my desk during my first class.

I had a Jackie moment on my fifth day of one of my classes. I was reaching for my pencil that had dropped on the ground and the desk tipped forward. I caught myself and was bracing myself with my right foot and couldn't tip the desk back upright. I stayed that way until someone realized what was going on and righted me.

Elizabeth is a boy grasshopper, according to Jackie.

^ ;D That makes it even cuter thinking about a boy grasshopper named Elizabeth. What book is he (my mistake before with "she" ;D) in? Love hearing about everyone's Jackie moments and have had more than my share, too. Once on my way into school, I stubbed my toe on the ice and my 35+ pound bookbag had already thrown me off balance and I went sprawling out, flat on my face. I laid there with the wind knocked out of me, nearly unconcious, until some total strangers (a man on his way to check out the school to go back as an adult, his wife, and two little kids in a mini van) helped me get up and get to class since I was so stunned. Luckily, that was the worst I've ever done and wasn't really hurt but I think of that when I read about Jackie's accident in Kristy's Worst Idea.

My junior year in college the school put up these new speed bumps and one day I was walking across campus and didn't see them. I tripped over one and landed face down in front of a whole crowd of people. It was one of the most embarrasing moments of my life.

I had my own Jackie moment this afternoon. I accidentally flipped my comb into the trashcan in the bathroom(luckily it was empty), knocked stuff out of my medicine cabinet, and knocked over my toothbrush holder. This happened in about 3 minutes.

I had one Tuesday where I wasn't looking where I was going and walked right into a door.

I had a Jackie day yesterday. Those are always bad.Started with my alarm not going off, I think..... Hopefully today will be better. Just read in one of the books (can't remember which) something about Jackie getting a baseball jacket when his dad took him to a Yankees game so this supports the idea that they are baseball fans.
