Adam seemed like the one who would grow up to be a frat boy who crushed beer cans on his forehead. I can totally see that!

I have to admit I had a little "book crush" on Jordan; I chose him over Adam because I liked his name better. Byron was just a wuss. Me too!! Jordan was such a hottie. He'd be the one to grow up and be in a band while Adam was the dumb football player. And Byron sat in the library.

And Byron sat in the library. ^ Staring longingly at the prune faced, bifocaled, librarian who obliviously goes about her business. "Someday," he tells himself. "Someday, I'm going to make her mine!" Edit: I thought I wrote that in earlier to finish the thought but I guess I didn't. So that accounts for the editting.

Hey, we're not all prune-faced, bifocaled, and oblivious. Well, I'm still one course away from my MLIS, but my boyfriend's an honest-to-God librarian, and he isn't any of those things.

^ You're going to be, though. Just kidding. Actually, I'm jealous. I tried to get a job at the circulation desk in my school's library but didn't get hired . Anyways, good luck with your career .

When Mr. Pike lost his job, Mrs. Pike gave the clan a pep talk about how "we're going to have to work together, we're going to be ok, we this and that, etc". One of the triplets started singing We Are The World and it was a funny 80s pop culture reference that made me laugh. It's about the only time I've ever been amused by them and I don't even remember which triplet it was.

I thought they were horrible to Nicky and that bugged me. I understand he's the "little brother", but I always felt bad for him cause those 3 picked on him SO much. I think Byron would be okay if it wasn't for the influence of Adam/Jordan cause he was always depicted as a bit more sensitive than his brothers. They should've explored a bit of a Byron/Nicky storyline or something, cause I think those 2 would get on well if it weren't for Adam/Jordan. Didn't Bryon/Nicky share a room later in the series?

Yeah, they room together at the end of All-New Mallory Pike. Except after that particular baby-sitting suplot, you don't really see much of the Pikes any more, and I don't think the Byron and Nicky relationship was really explored much further, which is a shame.

Yeah it is, but I kinda do feel a bit sorry for the triplets, since they don't have much of a seperate idenity from eachother. (except for maybe Bryon.) Do you think that is why they act like such butts? (or maybe they're just at the age.)

I don't think their teasing of Nicky was unrealistic though. Siblings can be really rotten to each other. That and they were triplets so why would they want their annoying younger brother hanging out with them?
But now that it has been brought up I cannot for the life of me see any distinguishing characteristics between Adam and Jordan. I'm betting she only had triplets in the series because it seemed like a good way to make up 8 Pike kids all so close in age.
