Wondering if Adam and Jordan ever got chapters in the super specials. I know Byron does in Baby-Sitters on Board and I think in Sea City but don't remember any chapters by the other triplets. It seems like Byron is the only one who sometimes gets developed as a character. I actually didn't mind the triplets (usually can't stand them) in SS #1 and thought their treasure hunt was really cute. I liked that they actually included David Michael and Nicky instead of picking on them.

Kind of a random thought: Identical triplets are very rare(I can't think of the exact statistics right off hand), so you would the triplets would be a big deal to everyone in Stoneybrook and the surrounding areas. Or maybe they were and I just don't remember that part.

^ I never got the impression that they were a big deal but agree. I think it was just like "oh yeah, the Pike triplets" kind of like the "Arnold Twins". Maybe just because the Pikes have such a huge brood... ;D

I saw a poster with important events of the year in the city a couple of days ago that had a picture of a couple preparing for triplets. I guess it's a bigger deal in a country with a negative birthrate though.

I think the number of multiple births is increasing, too, with the use of so many fertility drugs. Guess Russia doesn't have many Pikes with their negative birth rate ;D (I am actually kind of concerned about the seemingly rising birth rate in the US but now I'm going off topic.... sorry) Just read one of my least favorite Pike triplet subplots in Middle School Mystery when they break the window. Maybe I just can't relate to having siblings to feel the need to "cover" for.

I think I'm one of the few people that actually like the triplets. They remind me of my brothers for some reason.

They can be pretty obnoxious, but I'm used to that with 4 brothers.

I thougt they were pretty creative with the library they started and the talent show. I liked reading about them playing Secret Agents.

They can be pretty obnoxious, but I'm used to that with 4 brothers. This makes sense why you like them and also explains why I don't like them in most books (or am a little annoyed by them) because I'm an only child who is not used to having boys like this around. The Pike triplets can be okay. I really like it how they baked Mal the cake in Mal Hates Boys and Gym.

^ Yeah, I can see how you would find them annoying being an only child. I'm just used to guys, having been surrounded by them my whole life.

I’ve been reading a lot about the Pikes lately and have started to notice different personalities for Adam and Jordan. Though I always saw Byron as being kind of the outsider and more sensitive and quiet, I always lumped Adam and Jordan together as one. Now I see that Jordan is slightly more take-charge and bossy. Examples are when he is the “leader” in their secret agent game in Goodbye Stacey and in Jessi’s Gold Medal when he is the “fitness trainer”. But I might be missing some times when Adam wants to be the leader. Anyone think of any of these? Or more examples of Jordan taking over?
