Thanks for telling me where to find the pictures. I'm glad to finally be "sitting for the Perkins" They are so cute - some of my favorite charges.

The Perkins girls are some of my favorites. I would have loved sitting for them. We could sing and make green cookies. LOL.

^ The green cookies always sounded disgusting but it is a cute idea. I would have liked baking or doing some activity with the kids too. And the Perkins were such easy and fun ones to do things with, it seemed. I love how they could sing long songs and always seemed so smart and mature. I knew some kids like this and the Perkins remind me of them. Guess that's why I don't agree or like it when people say they are unrealistically good. In my opinion, there just aren't enough kids around anymore that are like the Perkins but they do exist. ;D

^ Aw. I had forgotten Dakota had a little sister. Has she been in many movies? I really like Dakota and think she's so cute. I usually don't like horse movies but liked Dreamer because of her (of course, Kurt Russell wasn't bad either ) Back on topic... what book was Laura born in? I know I just read it but can't remember now which one it was. She sounds adorable, too, and sounds like a good baby. Wonder if her and Lucy Newton became friends. That would be cute to see all the Perkins and Newton kids playing together. The Marshalls, too.

^I think Elle has played the younger version of Dakota in several movies. I know she was in Daddy Day Care and Beacause of Winn Dixie. I think she is doing more lately. I think the book Laura was born in is Hello, Mallory. I agree that the Perkins and Newtons playing together would be adorable. They are some of my favorites.

The Perkinses were totally the Dakota Fannings of Stoneybrook. Talented and scarily smart. So true! I think both Dakota & Elle are adorable, and I picture the Perkins girls as being cute, too. They've always been some of my fave BSC clients.

LOl. Would Gabbie be Dakota's little sister Elle? No, Gabbie apparently actually had talent (Yeah, I know, I'm mean. But I think Elle is usually terrible, though she did a good job on the new My Neighbor Totoro dub. She's totally the cuter child in the family, though, so it evens out )

The Perkins girls were my absolute favorite charges. I thought they were the only clients that sounded realistic and they reminded me of my cousin.

I feel sorry for Laura because I think she’s always going to be held to really high standards and compared to her “perfect” sisters. This might create a problem for her as she wants to make her own identity. I think Jenny might have similar problems with always being compared to the “wonderful” Andrea, just like in Miss Priss. Fortunately, I am an only child and never had to deal with this but I know my mom and aunts had it all of the time with each other and with their cousins (they have a ton of first cousins who live in the area, are close to their age and have the same last name). Reminds me of what my mom told her English teacher in HS when he said “why can’t you be more like your sister?” (my aunt loves literature and my mom doesn’t) She said, “Because I’m not her.” I think a lot of kids have to struggle with this, especially those whose siblings have great accomplishments in some area.
