^ I totally agree. She sounded like a very adorable girl, both in appearance and personality. I always liked Charlotte, thought sometimes reading about her bored me, but in real life she would be ,like, a dream little sister or something (well, I wouldn't exchange my real little sisters for anyone, not even for someone as sweet as Char).

^ i feel the same way. she's not dramatic or interesting enough to make a great character, but seems like a sweet girl who'd make a great sister though i, too, would not trade my real sister for anything. ;D

^I don't have a sister like you guys. I only have two brothers. Anyway,I think Charlotte's a very sweet kid.

She wasn't necessarily the most entertaining charge to read about, but there was something realistic about her that was nice.

Charlotte is one of my favourite charges. I've always loved the bond between her and Stacey. I'm an only child and when I was Charlotte's age I wished for an almost-sister like Stacey. I like the thory in which Charlotte is in love with Stacey as a teenager

^ I had several "almost sisters" so could really relate to that bond. ;D

I could really relate to Charlotte because I was shy too -only I was way shyer than her. I went all the way up to tenth grade without ever saying a single word at school unless the teacher called on me. I was even too shy to talk to most of my family members.

I liked Charlotte, she was well behaved and had a lot of interests. Seems that she played different instruments in every book.

I think she was just a normal kid and imperfect too. Remember how she made a mess of the fudge in stacey's emergency, and was anxious about the piano recital in stacey vs. the baby bsc.

I read NY, NY and noticed that Stacey is described as having dimples when she smiles, which Charlotte also has.

I like her relationship with Stacey. If I had to baby-sit a kid, I would probably want the kid to be like Charlotte since she's an easy charge.

I love the bond she has with Stacey. I wished for something like that when I was little. My best friend was like a sister, but she wasn't older or glamourous or anything. Amazing, yes, but not a Stacey. (She was the Kristy to my Mary Anne.)
Charlotte seems so sweet and real. That's probably why she's not the most interesting charge, but I still like her. I was a little like that as a kid (to an extent), so I relate.
