The triplets were cocky little twerps, weren't they?
I've always pretended Nicky doesn't exist. He creeps me out. I'm pretty sure he'll grow up to be a serial killer or something.

I don't remember reading anywhere that Vanessa wore glasses but may have missed something. With all of the inconsistencies, it wouldn't surprise me if she wore them in one book but not others. I like all of the Pikes except the triplets get on my nerves. I even think that some of Vanessa's poems are really funny. Margo and Claire sound really cute and I can totally relate to Margo's motion sickness. I feel bad for Nicky but agree that he might grow up to be a serial killer - the triplets will drive him to it ;D

I think Mallory mentioned that she, Vanessa and Nicky were the only Pike kids with glasses in Hello Mallory.

Why is it that in Dawn and Too Many Sitters, they say they wouldn't need two sitters for the Pikes anymore because the triplets had progressed, yet after that they still always did have two? Is continuity really that hard? If they didn't want to lose the supposed novelty of those two person notebook entries, why did they even bother with this plotline?

I hated two person notebook entries. The way they were written, it always seemed as though the two sitters were just writing and not speaking to each other as they did it, which creeped me out.

I hate the 2 person notebook entries too, cause they make NO sense! Like, if it's Jessi and Claudia writing, Claud would be like "Me and Jesie satt 4 the Pick's today. It wuz ok, until the tripplits begun akting wired and being meen 2 nikky, they were reel bra--" and Jessi pops in with "Hey! Those are Mallory's brothers you're talking about, Claud! Be nice!" like wtf? was she reading over Claudia's shoulder and grabbed the pen out of her hand?

I hated them because they were utterly pointless. At least normal entries give a little introduction to the job. But the Pike ones are always two people talking like they're trying to do witty banter but it's just dumb. They tell us nothing, and it's just a waste of notebook space.

Hahah, you guys are so right on with those quotes of the two person notebook entries. I hated those, for all the same reasons. Why did both sitters have to write in them anyway? Why couldn't Mallory have spared Claudia the pain of trying to spell "disaster" and just written the entry herself?

IIRC, there's a notebook entry in the Shadow Lake SS where Kristy does just this to Mallory, because Mallory is being too negative in her notebook entry or something else idiotic. And she writes, like, "Sorry, Mal, but I felt that..." like she wouldn't have said it ALOUD when was explaining why she SNATCHED THE PEN from her hand!

^LOL I remember that too. Cause WRITING how you you don't want negativity in the notebook you're planning on using to convince Watson to get the cabin is MUCH more discreet than actually just saying "Mallory! Suck up so we can get the cabin! Quit bitching!"

I think Mallory mentioned that she, Vanessa and Nicky were the only Pike kids with glasses in Hello Mallory. She did. But I feel like after that only Nicky and Mallory ever appear to wear glasses. I like to pretend that Vanessa just needed hers to see the board at school, and not wear them all the time.
