I think my favorite scenes with Jeff are when he drags the Dewitt boys out of the bathroom in SS 5 and then his chapter at his Dad's wedding in Here Come the Bridesmaids. ;D

I forget which book this was in but it was an early one, before Jeff moved back to CA, and he was acting like a jerk. Dawn and Jeff are home by themselves and are going to eat dinner in front of the TV. Dawn tells Jeff to use a tray because otherwise he'll spill. Jeff refuses, and of course knocks over his drink and then spills his entire plate of food in his lap. Then he throws a fit and runs off. Lame!

^I think that's in Little Miss Stoneybrook...and Dawn. I didn't like Jeff very much in that book. ;D

Well, Jeff was supposed to be a brat in that book. Even a few of the earlier ones, there was a lot of foreshadowing to Jeff leaving Stoneybrook. I really felt bad for Dawn, that had to hurt.

I don't think it was Little Miss Stoneybrook and Dawn, because I don't remember it being told from Dawn's POV. I think the chapter where it happened was supposed to be one of the "sitting chapters" in someone else's book. It might have been Claudia and the New Girl. I'd dig out my copy, but it's buried under a mountain of stuff.

I like the book Dawn's Family Feud. It actually has Jeff and the triplets playing together without any babysitters, and we get to see some triplet interaction. Jeff did kind of get on my nerves when he started complaining about the triplets not playing soccer (even thogh I'm pretty sure they played soccer in #19 and M#26).

I like Jeff a lot in Island Adventure. He kind of took on the "man" role on the island. Also, I could see him as a future baby-sitter. Remember when Dawn said how Carol left 2 kids at thier house and Dawn had to take care of the baby and Jeff took care of the other one? And how he was a BIT.

I liked Jeff in that one too. I thought it was funny when he showed up in rubber gloves.

I just don't like it when Dawn and Jeff gang up against Mary Anne, I think it's unfair. That's called having siblings. I'm one of three kids and growing up it was always, always some combination of two against one. Three's a bad number anyway because someone is always left out. My mom would never let me have two friends over at the same time. I had to have one or three so there'd be an even number of people. If I had been in Karen Brewer's Three Musketeers, my mom probably would have made us go recruit a fourth member. ;D

Agreed. There were books where I thought he was a brat, like in Dawn's Family Feud. And then there were books where I thought he was a good kid.

i actually really love jeff. i've had island adventure ever since i can remember, so in my mind he's always been a really great kid. i just read too many sitters and even though his immaturity gets really frustrating, i still think he's funny. i hate his relationship with dawn though. half the time she treats him like a baby, and half the time she enables him. in dawn and the WLKC, jeff is trying to tell sunny a joke but dawn interrupts him and says something like "no jokes until the table is set." really? he isn't allowed to TALK at the same time?
