Ha ha - Gotta love Kristy! I'll have to reread those early books as I enjoyed the Feldmans. Bad kids are often interesting

Yes. I just reread this one. Then she teaches Rob(the girl hater)how to whistle through his fingers. That's the job they're on when Alan Gray gets caught sneaking around.

I wish I could whistle through my fingers. Or whistle at all. I can't snap my fingers, either.

I wish I could whistle through my fingers. Or whistle at all. I can't snap my fingers, either. Ha ha - glad to hear I'm not the only one with problems in these skills I did learn how to snap, though, after kindergarten. It was required for a Christmas program and I couldn't do it. I still remember how much I cried because I just couldn't figure it out. I worked and worked and finally managed to learn how later. Wonder how the kids in the BSC are at snapping and whistling. Would like to have seen some more plots with school pagents (though that wouldn't require as much BSC involvement) and maybe the BSC helping them develop talents.

I can see why the Hardings wouldn't hire the BSC for Pamela. After all, it's run by the sister of her worst enemy! However, maybe sometime they could have been desperate for a sitter and forced to use the service. She's then a handful for her babysitter.

^ Agree about Pamela's parents but wonder if they know Karen is her "worst enemy." I wish the BSC would have sat for Nancy and Danny Dawes and loved when Stacey sat for the Gianellis in MA and 2 Many Babies. Aren't they also on the Krushers in later books and in Camp BSC? They sound so cute. So do all the kids in Ms Colman's Class.

Pamela, at least in the book she showed up in, had a 15 year old sister. I suppose she did the babysitting for Pamela. Older sis could have been a good rival for Kristy or a girlfriend for Sam. That would have made Karen's head spin. Can you imagine her best enemy's sister hanging out at the big house?

I had forgotten about Pamela's older sister but this is a great idea. Rival for Stacey for Sam's attention. Do you think that Pamela's family or the rest of Karen's family knew that the girls were "best enemies"?

^I'm sure Karen's family did. She was so talkative. They may not have gotten all the details, but I'm sure she'd complain about Pamela while she was eating a snack with Andrew after school. Pamela I'm not sure about. She played the aggressor in a lot of the Little Sister books, so she might not want to go home "Mommy, Karen and I got in a fight today." "Why, honey?" "Because I called her a toad and said Jannie and I were going to have more fun than her and Nancy this weekend." "Uh...that's not very nice."
It would have been interesting if the girls had sat for Pamela though, especially if one of them took a strong liking to her.

Oh that would have been interesting! That kind of reminds me of Dawn's Big Date when no one liked Sara Hill except Claudia because Sara was artistic...I don't think that's ever brought up in other books that feature the Hills.

I bet Stacey and Pamela would have hit it off - wasn't Pamela into fashion?

That would have been awesome. I bet AMM would never have approved, due to her inexplicable love of Karen.

I can't stand Pamela but she would create some interesting story lines. As for other underused clients, I just started rereading Stacey McGill Matchmaker and wondered if the Brooke kids ever showed up again. It is so annoying how some clients are just used for one book and then never mentioned again. For some reason, I think I remember a book with one of the girls saying "Mr. Brooke needs a sitter" at a meeting but don't think they were ever featured again. Were they? I like Ewen (can't stand the name, though) and Joni has the potential to create some real conflict. She seems to have a lot of issues and it would have been interesting to see her and Stacey build more of a relationship over the series instead of just in this book.

Hmm *getting an idea for a fanfic* in LS #9 it mentions Pamela having a 16 year old sister... I can just imagine Kristy and Pamela's older sister going at it in high school cause their little sisters hate each other! Okay a little far-fetched but interesting
