^The name Ewen makes me think of Ewan McGregor. ;D

I think it would be interesting if Pamela's sister was actually really different from her and very nice. Kristy would probably not like her anyway and start a conflict.

Who are the Brook kids? Are they the kids of that awful guy Stacey's mom dates? If so, I can see why they aren't mentioned again. Stacey's mom dumps that jerk for practically abusing his kid in the restaurant... I'd think he'd be too embarrassed to call the BSC.

^ Wow - I totally don't remember that but only read the book once and that was last year. Will definitely have to reread now. Certainly agree that he might be too embarrassed to call the BSC, though I think there is a later reference to him actually calling. Wonder what the girls thought about it and if they sat for him.

^ Nancy had a little brother named Danny. It always really disappointed me, too, that the sitters didn't sit for them. It didn't make sense, either, especially since they did sit for Gianellis who lived right nearby (I think they moved in during Karen's Bully???)

I always wished the girls sat for more of Karen's friends. they sit for Hannie etc a lot, but even then it usually ends up being kinda Karen-centered as she always comes over to play. I haven't read LS in ages, so Nancy's personality and stuff aren't that familiar to me, would've been nice to see her pop up as something other than part of the Three Musketeers.

I really enjoyed reading about Kristy's cousins in Kristy's Big Day and would have liked to have read more about them. Rivalry between Emma and Ashley would have been a potential and DM's friendship with Berk was good, too. I would have liked to have learned more about them and felt like Kristy didn't even know them that well. That's sad for me since I'm really close with my first cousins - or I was as a kid. I've kind of lost touch with my two boy cousins that are my age but we did tons of stuff together when we were younger and they were almost like brothers.

I always thought Natalie Springer was cute. Did the girls ever babysit her?

^ There is a cute Natalie subplot in Claudia and Crazy Peaches where Natalie doesn't have any friends and wants Claud to be hers. The BSC starts a friendship campaign to help Natalie make friends. She does become friends with Becca and Charlotte and Becca invites her to the Pikes' for a welcome home party in Jessi's Big Break. Those are the only books I remember her in, though. I like Natalie, too, and wish she would have been used more.

I liked Natalie and felt bad for her, but god she sounded annoying. She sounds very clingy and just.. I don't know... I would've been so annoyed if I was Claudia in Crazy Peaches.

^ Agree and am starting to see a different side of Natalie - like in Karen's Kite when I thought she was kind of a bossy, demanding brat (this is being a bit harsh but she didn't seem very nice) Maybe Natalie doesn't have friends because she is not pleasant to be around.... Even Claud and Crazy Peaches showed how she could be bossy and bratty, though this was explained. I wonder if Natalie doesn't know how to act and that is what her social problem is more than just the droopy socks and lisp (those don't help, though, as cruel as kids can be) Anyway, just read MA and Camp BSC and noticed that several kids from Ms. Colman's class came to the camp. Wonder why they came to that but never called the BSC to actually sit for them. It seemed strange.

^Agreed about Natalie. I feel bad for her but that can only go so far. She doesn't know how to interact w/ other kids (is she an only child?) All the kids from Karens class in Camp BSC threw me for a loop as well, it was totally random! I wish they sat for those kids more, would've tied LS and BSC in a bit more and it'd be interesting to read about the kids from karens perspective in LS and then from the older girls perspective in BSC.

Were the Cates from Haunted Bookstore ever mentioned again? I liked Tom and Gillian and think they could have been interesting. Gillian, especially, sounded cute. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if their dad was just too embarrassed to call the BSC after he used them with the whole mystery in the bookstore. Or maybe they refused to sit for him after that. But I can't really see that. Too bad they didn't use the kids as clients again, though. I can't stand it how they make up the throwaways for the mysteries.

^I don't *think* the Cates were ever used again, but I wish they were. Gillian seemed really sweet, and I liked how Tom was friends with Byron instead of "the triplets."
