I'm kind of suprised the Kormans eat hot dogs. Aren't they Jewish? They may not keep kosher though.

^ Are the Kormans jewish? Do you remember what book it was mentioned since I think I remember it too but am not sure from where.

I think someone mentioned in another thread a while back that they were jewish. I could be completely wrong though.

I think the Kormans are cute. Especially Melody in all the LS books.

^ Melody does sound like a cute kid, even if she is a bit strange sometimes. As for the Barretts, I find that Suzi is usually one of the funniest kids in the BSC books. She can make me laugh in almost every one she’s in. Buddy can, too, and I love their interaction. It seems very realistic.

I think Pow is my favorite Barrett. I love Bassett Hounds, and I felt so bad when they had to give him away. I can't imagine being that allergic to anything, and I have allergies.

Do they not give allergy pills/medicine to a child Marnie's age? Because I find it a little upsetting that they just gave Pow away if they could have managed her allergies safely.

i remember that my brother had bad allergies when he was a kid and he couldn't really play outside. he had to go through years of allergy shots.

^ Poor guy. I know there are people with some very severe allergies that can be treated some but not totally with drugs, etc. I think this is what it was for Marnie. From the way I remember it, Mrs. Barrett did everything she could to keep Pow. Maybe they could have found a solution, though, like making a little house for Marnie outside. Or even better, maybe the Pikes could have adopted her instead of Pow. ;D They wouldn’t have noticed another kid and Buddy and Suzi were right in saying they had Pow longer than Marnie.

Works for me! I don't know what is wrong with you people. Babies should be kept outside. Who cares what CPS has to say about that! My house would always smell much better it the babies lived outside

I'm kind of suprised the Kormans eat hot dogs. Aren't they Jewish? They may not keep kosher though. Ok, I'm a bit slow in responding to this. I'm not sure if the Kormans are Jewish, but what does that have to do with eating hot dogs? They do make Kosher hot dogs. And they're quite good.
