I tutor for twins who remind me of Marilyn and Carolyn. They are not identicle, but you can definitely see resemblance. They are interesting and make tutoring enjoyable. I always think of the Arnold twins though when I think of the girls I tutor for. They kinda look like the girls on Mallory and the Trouble with Twins, so that is probably why. Wow,I agree with aln, that's really cool!

I liked book #63 where Marilyn and Carolyn danced with the Pike triplets and Claudia's date had to do a double take.

Does anyone else find it wierd that LOGAN sat for the two girls one night? Wouldn't that be a little akward?

I didn't find it weird, just sort of out of the ordinary. It seemed like Logan only sat for the Rodowskys or Hobarts or some other family with boys when we got to read one of his sitting chapters. I like his chapter with the Arnolds.

^I liked it too, but I don't think I would like a 13 year old boy sitting for my 9 year old daughters. It's not that he can't baby-sit, I'd just feel more comfortable with a girl.

I'd feel more comfortable with a girl, too. It would just seem a little odd to have a boy...

I know...but I wonder if it's the same way for boys? Wouldn't 9 year old boys feel more comfortable with a boy sitter?

I don't know, they're probably more used to girls than girls are to boys. Does that make sense?

My parents never hired a boy sitter. But I guess what bscgirl10 said was true...if a stay at home mom is with them all day, they would be used to having a woman in charge.

What's the difference between a girl baby-sitter and a boy baby-sitter? I don't understand why it would be awkward. Baby-sitting is mostly sitting around watching television and doing homework anyway. It's not like Logan's going to put the moves on a nine-year-old.

Yeah, exactly. My older brother baby-sat for girls in the neighborhood. I really don't understand why it even makes a difference.

I'm not saying that boys can't baby-sit. A lot of them are probably better than some girls. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be comfortable leaving my nine year old daughters with a 13 year old boy.

Well, I wouldn't leave my child with a thirteen year old in the first place.

Just out of curiosity, what age would you feel comfortable leaving your children with? Depending on the teen, I wouldn't leave my kids with a 13 year old either.

Hmm, well I don't have kids, but all of my baby-sitters were adults growing up. I was baby-sitting at 15, but only in my neighborhood. And I certainly would never call up a bunch of random 13 and 11 year olds, that's for sure.
