Byron actually didn't do too bad in Dawn and Too Many Sitters so I see him having potential as a sitter. ;D

I think Karen would be a good choice for a president,Vanessa would also be a good choice for a vice president,Charlotte would be great choice for a secretary,Hannie would be the treasurer,Nancy would be the alternate officer, and Becca and Margo would be the junior officers. Rob Feldman,Byron and Maria Kilbourne could be the associate members.

^ Good choices. ;D As I've said in the Char thread, I can also see her as president because she always comes up with some "Kristy-like" ideas. Maybe Becca would be a better secretary since she's always playing "office." ;D

Get it? Becca and Margo being junior officers? Becca will take Jessi's place, and Margo will take Mallory's place.

^ I got it before. ;D Was just saying that maybe they could "move up" in the BSC world. ;D Maybe Margo could even be president. After all, she does have bossy (Kristy-like ?) tendencies....

^ I like the idea of rival clubs, though I don't see Karen being all that interested in baby-sitting. Well there WAS one Little Sister book where it's like "KAREN WANTS A BABY-SITTERS CLUB LIKE KRISTY but she's freaking seven years old so she baby-sits cats for one book instead."

^ I was thinking of that one. It was a cute LS book. I remember when 13 sounded so grown up. ;D

Why would the junior officers be older then the president? (referring to the Karen pres, becca jr. scenario. )
I don't know. I don't really see any of the stoneybrookites continuing with the club. With the way the world moves, it seems like the club had outlasted it's usefulness. Sure there will be new people in stoneybrook, but I'm sure they will all come with their own nannies. Maybe Charlotte and Becca can start a band with Jordan Pike or something. That would be a great spin off series. ;-)

^ I don't see the club continuing, either, but it's fun to think about. ;D I'm not sure what I would think about a spin-off because of my aversion to reading about changes in the books (I won't even read the FF series because the club is discontinued ;D) but it does sound interesting. Maybe Charlotte and Becca could get nannie jobs. ;D

In Karen's Kittycat Club Karen says that she sees herself being a member of the BSC when she is 13 . I can definitely see her reforming the BSC!

Charlotte, Becca, Haley, Karen, Nancy, Hannie and Natalie, one of the Hobart boys, Rosie Wilder, and Marilyn Arnold
Now that I think about it, some of them are similar to the real BSC, natalie would be like another maryanne, karen like another kristy, char & becca like another mallory and jessi but cooler, rosie like another shannon, and one of the twins like abby.

Hannie doesn't like little kids. I don't see her growing out of that and wanting to join a baby-sitting club.

Whenever I think of a new BSC, I think further into the future. I always thought it would be great if Andrea P, Laura Perkins, Lucy Newton and other characters who were babies in the original became the new BSC.
You could introduce whole new families and, if they're 13 now, the original BSC is mid-20s which means some of them could have babies as well. It would be a good way to start fresh.
