Wait, seriously? I had no idea that the Walkers were black. I take back what I said in the other thread about there being no "diversity" in New York.
I like the Walker kids. They did seem shy, and it was actually really interesting to me how well Stacey did with the shy ones (them and Charlotte) because she always seemed so peppy and outgoing and the complete opposite of that.

Also, there were some Latino (I think) kids in NY, can't remember their names but I think they were like a brother and sister or two brothers and a sister. I thought that was awesome, it really bothered me that there were no latin people in Stoneybrook and really not that much diversity within the town either.

Isn't Deluca and Italian name? They sat for those guys in #18, too. Topic: I liked the Walkers and I was aware that they were black.

I thought the Walkers seemed adorable. I always liked when they popped up in the series. The parents were cool and the kids were always so sweet.

I was really happy to see the Walkers again in Stacey's ExBoyfriend. Too bad she didn't see some of the other old sitting charges like Barerras, Upchurches, Delucas and Leslie who were in Stacey's Mistake. I loved the baby-sitting in that book. Henry and Grace are so cute and their parents seem really nice. I like how they treat Stacey like an adult.

I just read Stacey's ExBF too and I enjoyed her chapters with the Walkers. The parents seem really down to earth and cool and the kids are very sweet!

Oh, that's right. Carlos, Blair, and Cissy Barrera. I didn't know they were Latino/Latina. Hee hee, I'm dumb.

I always liked them, too. They seemed like such sweet kids. I wish they'd been in more books.

^I wish they had been too. They were so nice and smart and sweet, and I liked that they were artistic like their parents.

I love the Walker kids... they are really sweet! I've only read them in #13 and #18 though, haven't read the later books with them.

The Walker Kids are one of my favorite clients. Their so sweet kids. I also like their parents. The way, Stacey described their apartment. Their apartment sound cool.

The only thing I remember about these guys was how it infuriated me in #18 when they got the same "They're black, but we don't care, but oh, by the way, THEY'RE BLACK!" treatment Jessi gets. But they seemed sweet.

I wonder what they would do when they grew up. I think Stacey would keep in touch with them

^I think Stacey, would, too and that's a sweet thought. My very first thought was that one of them would make a great teacher because they came across as so genuine and excited at sharing their world and learning new things, at least about dinosaurs.
