Oh man, I hate the Kormans!!!
They especially annoyed me in 'Big Party.' Max was a brat to Melody, but she was a little cow! She really played up and made him out to be worse than he was and she really goaded him, I felt. She should have got into trouble too.
I hate Skylar because she has a stupid name and squawks about 'tats! no tats!' Annoying. Gah, I wish their house had burnt down instead of MA's.

I liked the Kormans! I wouldn't want there house to burn down. I agree, with you. Why did Mary Anne's house have to burn down?

Hm, you're right, I really didn't want anyones house to burn down. But at least it would have got rid of the toilet monster.
Sorry, you can probably tell that I'm slightly over the top with my Korman dislike.

I like Melody in LS. In BSC, not so much.

Does anyone else think that Melody Korman looks like a mini version of Mary Anne? Especially in the Little Sister illustrations. In Karen's Newspaper, Karen mentions that Kristy's friends Mary Anne and Bart were going to help with the event. In one of the photos, it shows Bart with some of the kids. At first, I thought Mary Anne was in the picture too -- but I realized it was Melody.

Tats be gone and far away from me. Come to think of it, the dull Kormans can do the same. The Delaneys were much more interesting. The Kormans were just another older brother, followed by a not much younger sister, followed by an eternal toddler sister family. Except unlike the Papadakises, Barretts, etc, I honestly didn't find much saving grace (or interest) in Bill, Melody, or Skylar.

^I just posted in another thread that I preferred the Delaneys to the Kormans. The Delaneys could be brats, but they weren't dull to read about. The Kormans were always so jumpy and scared of everything ; it certainly didn't make for interesting reading.

^I just saw that post Candycane. There really was nothing interesting about the Kormans at all.

I hated the toilet monster too - I could have understood it if the kids were younger - say 3 and 4. Bring back the Delaneys and the tennis courts and the $400 cat.

^Exactly psychoseal. I could understand if there was a big storm, no power, when the toilet began making noises, but to be that scared of the toilet otherwise was very strange. The Delaneys had personality. I liked reading about Kristy/Max and the "hysle cat" (high silk hat song) and Amanda's talk with Mal (or was it Stacey)? about not being used by people.
