I really like these two. Even though Hunter's "allergy talk" annoys me, I really feel for him with having all of those allergies. He sounds like such a cute kid. Kerry, too. I even almost felt bad for her in MA and the Search for Tigger, though I know she shouldn't have done what she did. I can kind of understand how and why she felt the way she did. I know she was lonely in that book and hadn't made any friends but it doesn't seem like she ever really makes any. Even though she is the same age as Vanessa and Hayley and some of the other girls, it doesn't seem like she plays with them much. I feel kind of sorry for her with this. I love Kerry and Hunter's interaction with Logan. In Logan's Story, it was really cute how they comforted him when he was feeling down. And I like how they are always kind of interfering in his relationship because this seems really realistic to me. The more I read about these two, the more I like them.

I can't stand Hunter and his allergy-talk. Inevitably seeing the words "Barry-Add" whenever he's mentioned starts grating on my nerves after awhile. Kerry seems like an okay kid for the most part, even if she bugged me in 'Search For Tigger'.

I totally felt for Kerry in Search for Tigger. Mostly because it really pissed me off (still does) that Mary Anne would let a tiny kitten wander around in an unfenced yard unsupervised (or even supervised, kittens can be quick and unpredictable.)

I think that Kerry and Hunter were good kids, mostly. But I still haven't quite forgiven Kerry for doing that to Tigger. If someone did that to my cat, I would've been a lot less understanding than Mary Anne was. That being said, I did feel for Kerry. It must be tough to not have friends, especially at that age. She and Charlotte could've been good friends, it's too bad that we don't hear from Kerry and Hunter much after this book.

I know this is a thread for Hunter and Kerry but wondered if anyone had thoughts on Mr. and Mrs. Bruno (do they have first names? ;D) Mr. Bruno has always seemed like a domineering type while Mrs. Bruno seems kind of quiet and submissive. Sometimes I wonder if this influences Logan’s behavior towards MA, especially his overbearing tendencies. For some reason, I can never see Mrs. Bruno standing up to her husband the way Mrs. Pike did in Poor Mallory (or maybe giving him a “talk” would be a better way of putting it ;D) or Stacey’s mom when she’s fighting with Ed or even being on equal ground with him like I see with Elizabeth, Sharon and the other moms. Maybe this is just my perception so I was wondering if anyone else had thoughts on the Bruno parents.

wow I've never thought about the Bruno parents but I think you are def right, aln. A good example is Logans dad wanting to ship him off to that ridiculous school and Logan being too scared to talk to him about it - obviously that stemmed from somewhere. not saying he is a mean guy or anything, but it makes me think that his dad is kind of a "I'm the man of the house, do as I say" type of person and I don't mean to stereotype... but... maybe that has something to do with them being southern?

If it's the Southern thing then that's Ann stereotyping yet again

^ Agree about the southern stereotype and this is what I thought too, even though barely any of the people from the south who I know are like this. Some are, some aren't. Not much different than other parts of the country.

^ Lyman sounds right. Kind of reminded me of lyme disease when I read it. (hope I didn't offend anyone with this - I make weird associations with names sometimes) ;D I think the names are mentioned in one of Logan's books, which I plan to reread soon. I look forward to reading about the Brunos again and trying to gain more insight into them. They are interesting characters to me and I wish they had been featured more, especially Kerry and Hunter. I always thought it was weird how Logan came to BSC group functions and didn't bring them while Jessi always brought Becca. But maybe they didn't want to go. I did enjoy Hunter's friendship with Claire (he was her "guest") in Abby in Wonderland.

For some reason Kerry always seemed kind of boy-ish to me. I always picture her as looking like Haley Braddock and that is NOT a good thing. Plus, I dislike her for the Tigger incident. Grr. I don't really have an opinion on Hunter except that his allergies were very annoying. How come they NEVER went away?? I wonder why the BSC didn't babysit Kerry & Hunter more often.
Lyman is a really weird name!

^Agree with aln that Lyman makes me think of Lyme disease.

^ ;D Glad I'm not the only one. Hitzpink, Kerry also reminds me of Hayley but almost a little less "boy-ish". For some reason, I can see them as being friends. I have a lot of allergies, too, so I kind of sympathize with Hunter (though I don't do "allergy talk", which is very annoying as written) and think he sounds like a sweet kid. Also wonder why the BSC doesn't sit for them more. That's one of those questions (or missed opportunities) that is really bothering me right now ;D

It's weird because they sit for all of their other siblings alllll the time. Even the ones with stay at home moms. It's kind of like how they never sit for the Kilbourne's either!

Agree that Lyman is an odd name...I think it's Ann's grandfather's name. Or someone in her family. It's mentioned her bio or in a book dedication or something.
