I like Amanda. I mean even though she brags a lot, there's still that soft,kid-dy spot in her. I really liked her in Karen's Goodbye.

^ I really like her in that book, too. I like Amanda much better in the LS books but she is funny to read about in the BSC. ;D

Does anyone remember what LS book Amanda comes back to visit Karen in? I know it took place in the summer but can’t remember which book.

^I know which book you're talking about, but I don't remember. Doesn't she confront Melody and flip out when she sees they changed her house around so much? lol.
Amanda is much more likeable in the LS books than she is in the BSC books. Maybe that's because Karen sees her as another kid, one like her. The BSC throws her into the "Eww Problem Child" pile, along with Jenny Prezzioso, Jackie Rodowsky, and the Barretts lol.

You have "problem children" like the Barrett's, and they're not really the problem. They're cute, nice, normal kids. It's their mom who's the issue for being uninformative and leaving the house a wreck every day.
Also, I think the Delaney's are really funny. Amanda cracks me up when she starts going on about Priscilla. Can you imagine if they had still lived there when Abby moved in? She would have been all "You named your cat after Elvis' wife? That's awesome!" And Amanda would have been all offended for such a pedestrian thought about Priscilla.

I actually really enjoyed reading about the Delanceys. I liked them better than the Kormans.

I like Amanda and Max. Even though they are so rich and "snobby", I think they are slightly more normal than some clients in Stoneybrook. They're not perfect, like most of the kids (Perkins girls, Jamie Newton, etc.), or unperfect to the point of exageration, like Jenny P and Jackie R. I think they are basically good kids.

I couldn't stand Amanda. She was such a snob. Nobody cares how much your cat costs. I can understand why Hannie hated her so much. Amanda was a brat!

I wish they didn't move and remained in Stoneybrook. But I did like reading about Karen hanging out with Amanda in Karen's Goodbye and the farewell party that Karen gave to Amanda.

I like Amanda because she is a definite prototype of A LOT of young girls out there.

I love the Delaney kids and Priscilla the $400.00 cat. They were fun to read about.

I really missed the Delaney's after they moved away. They were so much fun to read about and I loved reading the description of their house.
