Does the BSC ever sit for the Hsu boys? I know they are mentioned (Timmy at least) as playing on the Krushers and show up quite a bit in the LS books but don’t remember any books wehre the girls sit for them. They seem like nice boys, from what I have read. I really like it in Karen’s Haircut how Scott tells Hannie that he will still “marry” her because he doesn’t care how she looks (or something to that effect)

Mary Anne rescues Timmy Hsu when he falls into the pool in MA to the Rescue, but I think she is sitting at someone else's house then, maybe the Kormans. I do recall Kristy being pissed in #100 when Cokie is baby-sitting the Hsu boys, and Kristy calls Mrs. Hsu to complain and she tells Kristy that now that the club is broken up, she decided to give Cokie a chance because Mrs. Hsu and Mrs. Mason are friends. I'm pretty sure they're listed as clients. They're not listed as clients in the CG though. They were in "all the children" and joined the Krushers (acc. to #95), so I don't really understand why they weren't clients.
By the way, how do you say Hsu? I always said "Hugh-sue," but I think it's wrong.

^I've always wondered that myself. I thought either the h or s had to be silent, so I alternated between saying "Hu" and "Su."

In fact, I know someone whose last name is spelled "hsu." And he pronounces "su." But I don't know about Timmy and Scott, though, of course.

I always pronounce things strangely, anyway, (don't ask me about Papadakis or Perezzioso ;D) so I've always said Huh-shu but figured that probably wasn't it.

I always have said it huh-sue. I'm probably wrong though. I honestly dont' recall anything at all about these boys...

Kristy offers to watch them in Christmas Chiller after their house is broken into, so their parents can tidy up, and I think maybe someone else sits for them in that book, too. (Actually, I always was kind of bothered that it didn't always specify how the other girls took jobs in Kristy's neighborhood--I think sometimes they took the bus from SMS with her, but it didn't always mention that, or if the charges' parents drove them home, and I was obsessive like that.)

I've always pronounced it Huh-Su, but I think that's wrong.

It seemed like the Hsus were featured a lot more at the end of the series. I think they - or at least Timmy - joined the Krushers, too. I remember that they were in MA to the Rescue because MA saves Timmy. Were they in the Kormans' pool in that one or did they have their own pool? I can't remember any more. Actually, though, that is the only time I remember an actual baby-sitting chapter involving the Hsus. Wish there would have been more since they seem like good kids and probably could have had some interesting storylines.

What was the first book the Hsus were mentioned in? I noticed they were used a lot more in the later books. Did they just move to Stoneybrook or just start using the BSC?

Hmm, yeah, I'm not sure when the Hsus were introduced. Hannie got married to Scott in a really early LS book.
