When I was a really little kid, I tended to play with the children of my mom's friends. This trend even continued after I got older. This made me wonder if any of the clients in the BSC books are friends. I know Mrs. Pike and Mrs. Barrett are but wasn't sure about the others. Maybe Mrs. Newton and Mrs. Marshall? What about Mrs. Perkins? Mrs. Ramsey? Does it ever mention any of their friends? I can kind of see the charges' parents being friends with each other since they live so close.

I can also see most of the parents of the charges knowing and being friendly with each other.
Jamie sometimes played with Myriah and Gabbie, so maybe the Newtons and Perkinses.
The Brewers and the Papadakises, maybe? Karen played with Hannie and David Michael played with Linny...

I think I remember Mrs. Newton and Mrs. Prezzioso having coffee together at one point, but I have no idea what book it was.

Wasn't there a chapter where some sitters babysat for the Newtons, Feldmans and Perkins together? I think that shows the Perkins and Newtons were friends on some level at least.

I think of the Newtons, Marshalls and Perkins all being friends. Maybe because they live near each other and their kids play together. I also remember a mention, I think, of Kuhns being friends with Barretts but maybe it was just the kids. Also, I imagine the Braddocks, Arnolds, Johannsens and maybe Ramseys are all friends but am not sure why.

I think Dr.Johannsen and Mrs. Ramsey are friends. Remember the part in BSC #14 "Hello Mallory" ,when Charlotte came over then gave Jessi a casserole or something, then told her that Mr. and Dr. Johanssen invited their whole family for dinner?

^ I remember that but think it was the only mention of them ever doing anything together. That's too bad it wasn't developed more as a relationship.

I think of the Kuhn's and Barrett's being friends too... maybe cause they are both divorced moms?
And laylaandthemixup... wtf?

Mrs. Newton mentions several other families at the end of #3, when she's spreading the word about the BSA's poor job. She must have at least been well acquainted with several of them.

I think that Kristy's mom is friends with Mrs. Kuhn...at least, she was during "Kristy and the Missing Child."

MA mentions that Mrs. P and Mrs. Pike are friends, which seems very strange to me.
