I really like Vanessa and think she might be one of my favorite sitting charges and one of the most developed. I see a lot of different sides to Vanessa, especially in the later books when she’s struggling with Mal moving. I think she’s definitely at an awkward age between being a little kid and starting to grow up. Her poetry always makes me laugh, too, and I think she’s for sure one of the funniest (at least for me) charges. ;D

I don't know, the rhymes are sort of annoying.

My half-brother named his little girl this...her mom liked it because it means butterfly.

I always liked Vanessa. I have always loved her name and her rhymes and the way she puts up with her siblings. She was very matre in Mary Anne and Too Many Boys and I loved her poem to Mary Anne at the end! I like how she is always writing new poems and that they are very consistent with that throughout the series.

I think Vanessa and her rhymes are so adorable and funny. She's a sweet kid and I really like the interaction between her and her siblings. I really like the name Vanessa too. It makes me think of a fanfic for another fandom I'm writing, but the Vanessa there is quite different. She's also sweet and nice, but more of a wild partygirl. She's my favorite character there

I also liked Vanessa in MA and Too Many Boys. Her written poems in that book were quite good, unlike the annoying ones she spouted the rest of the time.

^ I had forgotten about Vanessa in that book but I really like her in it, too. Glad to see there are so many others who like Vanessa. ;D I also like the name really well and think it's one of my favorite charge names. ;D

I loved Vanessa in MA and Too Many Boys. I thought the way she handled the whole situation with Chris was really mature and I felt for her. That had to hurt when she realized he liked Mallory. I really enjoyed her relationship with MA in that one, too, and in every book with Mallory. I thought it was sweet when Mal was talking in her sleep or having a bad dream (or whatever it was ;D) and Vanessa just calmly reassured her. I think she's definitely one of my favorite Pike kids. ;D
