Ugh, I have it on my iPod but not in my itunes anymore, otherwise I'd send it to you.
There's a cd called songs for my best friends that I have at home somewhere that has a bunch of songs--about talking on the phone and saving the earth and other BSC stuff--that has an extended version of say hello to your friends. I recommend getting a hold of this cd, cause the songs are hilarious.

Hee.
I had a few of the BSC books on tape, but they only played, like, half a minute of "Say Hello to Your Friends" at the very beginning. Which wasn't enough for me, of course, so I got in the habit of rewinding it and playing that half minute over and over. It must have been terrible for my parents because it would always sound like it had stopped -- but, no, there it went again!
Speaking of the books on tape, I had this weird fantasy about being a voice actress for one of them, since it wasn't just one person reading the whole book. When I was reading a book, sometimes I would pick a sitting charge and read everything she said out loud.

I found it on "You tube" once. Maybe you should try to look there...you could see the opening montage to it on the show

Lilafowler, I did the same thing. I used to pretend I was starring in a BSC miniseries or something and I would always read kristy or Mary Anne out loud because I figured they were the only people I could play because I had brown hair. My mom must have thought I was crazy. Edited because Mary Ame is not a BSC character

The theme song was one of those songs that stuck in my head the entire day. I loved it though!

OMG, I remember seeing that "Songs for my Best Friends" tape at the store when I was a kid (in the dark ages before CDs were the main format!). I didn't end up getting it. I still have "Say Hello to Your Friends" memorized. Eek.
