I highly doubt their silly quick-study method song would have helped Claudia answer the questions so fast! I'll have to watch this movie again or find a cheaply priced DVD of it for my own.

the stoneybrook dance academy can't really be taken as a mistake, as it isn't really a goof, just an inconsistency with the books as a lot of films do.
I also highly doubt that that little song covered EVERYTHING on that test, as catchy as it may be.

I'll have to watch this movie again or find a cheaply priced DVD of it for my own. Yeah, I have it on VHS but have been thinking about getting the DVD. I wonder if it has any special features? Probably not. |

I got this article from the 'Say Hullo' page. These are some out-takes/things to watch for in the movie: When Stacey arrives at the Wilders' house, the door opens by itself. Watch that part closely - you'll see Rosie doesn't touch the door as it opens... In the baseball practice at the day camp the same shot is used for Jackie's two swings. In the second shot Jackie swings for the ball, misses, hits his foot with the bat and falls over screaming. In the first shot Jackie swings and misses, but it cuts before he falls over. Watch closely and you'll see that the bat hits his foot and his mouth opens, but the sound is muted. In the test Claudia manages to answer about seven questions in the space of two seconds. A remarkable feat, considering she just had a complete mental block. At the beginning Jessi dances into what the sign states is the Stoneybrook Dance Academy. Jessi forced it down everybody's throats in the books that she was a fantastic dancer ("Oh oh! I don't mean to sound conceited or anything!") and went to a special dance school in Stamford. Also in that scene the camera is at an angle that it shouldn't really be when Jessi raises her leg that high while wearing a skirt... www.angelfire.com/anime3/happydance/bsc_8.htmhmmm... Booboo, the dvd doesn't have any special features. It's only in full screen mode too, if that matters to you. I got mine from the $5 bin at Wal-Mart, so I wouldn't pay too much for it if you're going to buy it.

a few more to add to gwenfan's list...
* When Dawn, Kristy, Claudia and Stacey are down in the Kishi's kitchen getting cookies and other snacks for a BSC meeting, Stacey pours some milk in a bunch of glasses. She pours maybe a 1/10 of a glass of milk in three glasses and then stops.
* Kristy pretty much knocks Jackie Rodowsky off a tree he's sitting in as she rushes to leave the day camp to meet her dad in a waiting VW van.
* After Kristy leaves, all the other girls are talking about Kristy and then Ellen Burnstyn's character comes up to talk to them....um, who's watching the dozens of kids running around?
* One of Luca's friends gives his ID to the doorman at the bullsh*t "16 and older" club by shoving it in the guy's chest.
* One of the guys waiting in line behind Stacey and Claudia at the club totally checks out Stacey when she leaves.

Which girl was Vanessa? I didn't know that Vanessa was featured in the BSC Movie.
