-You think some of your favorite male/female musical groups or your friends look like the characters.

^speaking of which, Lu's coming out with a new song, Virgo! Yes, I've seen that. I heard she wants to do it about the "fall being part of the dance?!" Also, please say I'm not crazy for thinking about the McGills/Singers similarly lol.

Haha you have a point there. Imagine if Stacey and Maureen were on a reality show. There's a fanfic idea.

You know that you are obsessed with the BSC when you see the sitters everywhere you go! You see people that resemble the various characters in the book and you start thinking that they are them. And so forth.

You think Luci from Barney and Friends/Barney and the Backyard Gang could be Kristy's long lost sister.

Whenever you see or hear the phrase "continue on" you ignore the rest of the sentence because you're preoccupied by thinking that it's redundant.

When someone can give you a number between 1-131 and you know the title of the book.

Take a shot every time it's announced that a new family has just moved to Stoneybrook and they need a babysitter from the babysitters club: then die of alcohol poisoning!

Why is it I can only leave messages on the fun and games section without issue, but I can't choose whatever avatar I want for this forum? I don't want Stacey McGill!

All I can say is this; they really wanted every reader AKA these girls to hate mothers, especially single mothers with a burning passion with every book that they wrote and for the most part in worked. Dawn being reading to call CPS on Mrs. Barrett because the breakfast dishes were not put away is a prime example. Now keep in mind, that these girls read the books back when they were in the sixth grade scrambling to get a book report written. Now time waits for no person, you know it and I know it. Well, well, well. These girls aren't in the sixth grade anymore. Now they are single mothers, divorced and struggling themselves. Speaking of Mrs. Barrett the hell that goes on this forum for this fictional woman depicted as struggling too much, and life being in chaos, now those same girls [who hate Mrs. Barrett with a seething passion and rip her apart in the forums] are real people by the way and Mrs. Barrett is just fictional are now single, divorced, struggling mothers themselves, putting on makeup, decked out in their best clothes for job interviews and are waiting for the babysitter to arrive just like Mrs. Barrett was meanwhile, their kids are lounging around in their pajamas watching cartoons just like The Barrett kids are in Dawn And The Impossible Three! I take some solace in that. because that's the way life goes. It's kind of funny how what goes around comes around, in fiction and real life no doubt.

That's outrageous and reductive. Why in the world would Ann write a book for young girls encouraging them to hate single moms? If anything, the moral of the story is that life is hard for single moms.
