^ Thanks. I know I saw their names in the complete guide but don't remember a mention in other books. Were Keisha's parents even in BSC in the USA, though? I think she was in that one. In Secret Language, too.

Is Keisha Jessi’s cousin on her dad or mom’s side? If it’s on her dad’s side, this would make her related to Aunt C and then I think it’s weird that the girls never talk about how awful Aunt C is. In Jessi’s Babysitter, I would think that Keisha (if she’s also Aunt Cecila’s niece) would have been the first one Jessi called. At least that’s what I would have done, even just to joke a little about Aunt Cecilia. What is the book where Keisha comes to help at the carnival at the Pikes? I wish they would have mentioned her more in the series.

I have a second cousin named Keshia, and we're white. But, I knew of Keshia in the BSC before her, so that's who I thought of when my cousin named her

I really am sad about how Keisha was so forgotten. Especially compared to Sunny and Laine. Maybe it was just because the younger girls got fewer plotlines in general. And because Keisha didn't live in a glamorous place enough to make the girls have a vacation there. And, I think keeping in touch wasn't so easy in those ages as it is now, but didn't they ever talk in the phone or something? My best friend who is my cousin (heh, we're like Jessi and Keisha, lol) and I used to talk in the phone all day when she only had a very slow internet. But maybe Keisha and Jessi weren't so used to their situation - me and my best friend have always lived in different towns. About Keisha's sudden 'change', I think that and Jessi's reaction was quite realistic. And I would also love to see more interaction between Keisha and Mallory. I'm good friends with my best friend's good friend from her hometown, it would have been cool if that had happened to Keisha and Mal. But I think I'm just repeating everyone else and it's getting too late for me to write anything sane.

I also would like more interaction between Mal and Keisha. As for keeping in touch, I have two cousins who were my best friends when we grew up in the same town but when they moved during HS, we bascially lost touch. We used to talk all the time but now I email the one maybe every month and talk to the other about once every two months on the phone is all. And I only see them for Christmas. It's sad and that's what I think of with Jessi and Keisha. Totally realistic, I think.
