Austin didn't really *have* a personality, though... So it was easy for him to be consistent. He was just a decorative, football-player piece in BSC Land.

Oh, yes! Word. She develops more in the Friends Forever series, though, where she becomes friends with Claudia.

Emily Bernstein had more of a personality than Pete or Erica. She was the editor of the school newspaper!

She has a definite personality in Stacey's Movie. It's not supposed to be an attractive personality, but it's more than most secondary characters got.
The Claudia/Erica friendship is the only good thing about the Friends Forever series.
Back to Pete Black, he's probably my favorite male character in the series. He can do anything and he wears sneakers to the school dances. And he describes Laine's hair as "like gossamer". There's more to Pete Black than we know.

^ I definitely prefer Pete to Logan. He seems much more realistic, particularly in MA Misses Logan.

^ I liked Pete in Stacey's Movie. I liked the way he took to the editting process.

Haha, just read Stacey Ex best friend last night, so I'm liking Pete right now. I haven't seen him inconsistant yet though.

^ I like Pete pretty well too and always see him as a good potential match for MA. Felt really bad for him in Ex Best Friend. I actualy just came on to post a possible consistency that I found in his behavior. Read a mention of Pete Black snapping Dori Wallingford’s bra strap in Logan Likes Mary Anne. Isn’t that what made Emily (or maybe Erica) hate him in MA Misses Logan? Must be how he shows girls he likes them ;D Have to admit this does give me more of a negative view of Pete, though.

OMG I thought Pete was absolutely insufferable in Stacey's Ex Best Friend. What a geek. I would've blown him off, too, if I was Laine. He was suddenly like, falling in love with a girl he didn't even know!! Loooser.

Yeah, Pete Black and Austin Bentley were the two guys that Claudia and Stacey would pass around. Dawn went out with Pete too, I think. They went to the school dance in Mary Anne's Make-Over. I know none of the girls took him seriously, but wouldn't there be some sort of tension if three close friends dated the same guy? I don't really have an opinion on Pete. I liked him in The Truth About Stacey but couldn't stand him in Stacey's Ex-Best Friend. There's really not much I have to say about him, I guess.

I think Pete and Mary Anne would be great too, esp;ecially in Mary Anne Misses Logan!
