/\Maybe it was Jackson? Speaking of Shea, that was one name I was completely confused by as a kid. I pronounced it "Shee-ah" for the longest time.
I forgot about Austin Bentley. That's a soap opera hunk name. Pete Black and Alan Gray are like the blandest names ever compared to him.

^^ It might have just been Jack, and they lenghthened it to Jackie, cos I guess you'd still go by that when you;'re seven...by the time you got to 10ish you'd probably shorten it again.

When I first read Logan Likes Mary Anne!, I was so confused that Jackie wasn't a girl. I have only ever known female Jackies, but this was before I had heard of Jackie Robinson. I think I was, like, seven, so I wasn't that sheltered

Well he totally looked like one on the cover of that book. He was gazing up at Logan like a little girl in puppy love.

I think it's funny that Mrs. Barrett's husbands names are Hamilton and Franklin. Who's next? Jackson?

I always pronounced Shea as "shee-ah," too! It's just "shay," right? If anything, that sounds like a girl's name to me.

I always thought it was Shee-uh, too! I think in a notebook entry Claudia wrote "Shay" once, though, and that's how I figured out it was pronounced Shay. Weird name, I don't like it. I always wondered why Jackie was a boy, too! LOL! I think his real name is Jackson or something. That'd go with Archibald.

I've always loved the names Tiffany and Charlotte and Grace.

I really REALLY have a hate on for common names, so most of the names given in the series kinda annoy me. They are just so blah and boring...cardboard.
The only names I actually liked were Sunshine Daydream (weird- yes, but chances are no kid in your class would have the same name, lol), and Clover and Daffodil. I also have to give a shout of to Gozzie Kunka- even though she was imaginary.
*amber* --> who is currently in battle over future baby-names with her boyfriend (I am pushing hard for Phoenix)

^ ha, I'm more one for traditional names. A name like Sunshine Daydream is fine when you're a little kid, but I don't think I'd want to go through life with that name. How could you be taken seriously in a professional environment, for instance ;D
I wasn't into Daffodil, but Clover was alright I have to admit.

I loved Claudia and Stacey. In first grade, I actually had an imaginary friend named Charlotte. Also, I used to pretend my name was either Elizabeth, Amanda, or Samantha, depending on the day.

I am one of those people who would be devastated if her kids ended up turning into grownups whose names would have some sort of negative affect on their line of work. If they ended up being capitalist slaves to the corporate world, it would seriously make me die a little inside. Maybe having a name like "Sunshine" would already discourage them from something like this, and point them more towards something creative. WHo am I kidding - knowing my luck, I will probably end up with a banker whose favourite colour is beige. *amber*
