^ ;D I never thought of that. Probably not since I doubt she'd want to read the entire entry. Janine wouldn't mind writing it, I don't think, but might fill up the whole book with one job - that's probably what I'd end up doing, too. ;D

I liked the friendship between Anna and Shannon. They have a couple of scenes in Welcome to the BSC, Abby. Are they any others in other books?

^ I don't remember them in any other books but think their friendship was mentioned a few times. Wish we would have really seen more of it, though.

I really liked Anna and thought the club needed a member that was passionate about music as she was. I wish I saw more of her. They should have just made her an associate member. I'm also quiet and used to be into music like that, so she may have become one of my favourite members too.

I liked Anna better than Abby, but I think that might be because she was never written about, so I can conceptualize her any way I want to. I wish there had been more meaningful interaction between Abby and Anna, esp. surrounding their Dad's death and their Mum's absence from the home life. It seems to me like they're both hiding behind a mask, Anna is music and quietness, and Abby is sports and loudness. Either way, I think they have major issues to work through.

I usually like Anna but I'm happy that Abby joined the club. I think it would be interesting if Anna was an associate member while Abby was a member.

^That would have been an interesting scenario. I would have liked to get to know more about Anna either way, whether she was a member of the club or not.

Me too, but as the case, unless it's a member in the club, the reader won't know other characters that well unless they're featured often.

Did Anna even like babysitting/kids? It seems like every time I've read about her helping Abby at a BSC event she brought her violin and a few kids from the orchestra and played music off in a corner somewhere. I don't remember her interacting with the kids much at all. I've read very few Abby books though, so are there books where Anna is more involved with the charges?

^ I'm not sure about her getting involved exactly, but when the Stevensons first arrive in #89, Anna tutors Dru (Morbidda Destiny/Mrs. Porter's granddaughter, I think) - I think she helps her learn the flute. (Because if you play the violin and the piano, you totally know how to tutor the flute). But maybe that was to justify the BSC asking her to join, because after that, I don't think she's very involved at all.

I used to say Anna should have been made an associate member of the club. I think she should have been a club member instead, I guess I like her better cause I'm also into music and kind of shy.

It would have been cool to have BOTH Abby and Anna in the club. But I guess that would have been babysitters overload? And the sides of the books would have been really squished with all the sitter's faces... could you imagine when Dawn's face showed up peeking over the top of the book near the BSC logo?
Anyway, I would have liked to see more of an Anna and Mary Anne development, since I think they would have made really good friends. Or even have Anna as an associate member, who could have taken the odd job alongside Logan and Shannon... didn't they talk about that at one time?

^ I don't think anyone talked about making Anna an assciate member, just that she was asked to become a regular member and rejected it.

You'd think that all of the problems they dealt with then Dawn's left temporarily, Mallory had mono, and they needed so much back-up (and even TALKED about getting other kids from the neighbourhood to help out as associate members) that they would ask that of Anna, who is reliable and good with kids.

They did ask Anna but she said no because she was busy with her music.
