Why is Pete Black not mentioned?! Aww. Or Austin? I liked them both in Stacey's Ex-Best Friend. And I liked Pete in Mary Anne Misses Logan.
If I lived in Stomeybrook, I think I'd date Ben Hobart - his accent could be the cure for homesickness! And I agree with everyone about Charlie. I really like both Charlie and Sam in the FF series.

Definitely Bart - minus the creepy secret admirer notes, which when you think about it, made no sense for his character. He was never creepy like that with Kristy...even later in Kristy's Mystery Admirer, he doesn't try to profess his love after he admits he wrote the early notes. Maybe Charlie Thomas as well...he seemed the most mature of the Thomas "men"... As much as I liked reading about Sam in the books, there is no way I could date him, he would drive me up the wall...waay too childish. Hmm, maybe King, Laine's "super mature" boyfriend - he seems like quite a catch... ...just kidding

I don't know if I pay enough attention to these boys to know who I'd date. Def not Ben... I'm surprised he's being mentioned so much! he's TOO nerdy for me. Slightly nerdy is okay but Ben is like, EXTREMELY nerdy (says the 23 year old on the BSC message board). Plus I don't like red hair on guys.
I'd date Logan maybe... I think I'd like all the attention, hah. As far as more fringe characters, I really have no idea. Pete Blacks personality changes every book so I can't judge him and honestly I pay no attention to people like Austin Bentley. Ethan seems cool, but he also seems very pretentious which would get really old really fast. Bart is dull, I never even liked him as a kid reading the books. Charlie and Sam are too too dorky. Robert might be okay too.

^I totally agree with you about Ben. Ick!
After Pete Black cried over Laine at that dance, he definitely goes on my NO FREAKING WAY list. Sam is also on that list.
Charlie might be ok. He's way more mature than Sam, and doesn't seem as dorky. But I would probably have second thoughts once I found out how much time he spends driving his little sister and her friends around town.

dealing with kristy and karen is enough for me to put both charlie and sam on the "no" list.

I know he's a very minor character, but he seemed like a normal, laid-back guy that they all liked. Forgot Pete on my list. His crying about Laine seemed like a strange inconsistency with everything else mentioned about him. I liked him in MA Misses Logan, too. But they change him too much to fit the needs of each book so I guess I'm undecided on him as well. Plus, isn't he the one who snaps girls' bras?

Luca, from the movie. I thought he was so dreamy when I was nine. Plus, he wouldn't have to flip out about my age! Win/win situation.

Yeah, Pete's the guy who snaps girls' bra straps... But that was ages ago! He might have matured since then. I liked him in Stacey's Movie! I thought it was sweet how he cried about Laine. It wasn't like it was full-on sobbing or anything...

I just finished up Abby's Un-Valentine, and Ross is really annoying. I totally understand why she wouldn't go out with him. She tells him she's allergic to flowers, so he gives her more. He just wouldn't. Give. Up. At first, I thought she was being unreasonably bitchy (although I share the V-Day hate) and he was a nice guy, but by the end? Dude, enough already.

I've always had a soft spot for Charlie! I despise Logan. Ben Hobart is a possibility as is Alan Gray.

I would have agreed with this when first reading it, but I've changed my mind after re-reading...Ross is pretty naive and seems unsure how to handle Abby's bluntness/bitchiness, so in his attempts to woo her, he just ends up looking like a pest. But it's not entirely his fault since Abby feels strongly about the situation but never says point blank to him she has zero intention of ever giving him a chance.

Trevor Sandbourne! He didn't really have much of a personality, though... And he didn't really appear much after Phantom Phone Calls.

Right!! I know, but as a kid, I always liked the mysterieus poet type myself (still do, actually!) so I was drawn to him for that reason
