ahh okay that explains it too... I didn't read any of Claud's books when she was in 7th grade (and despite how bad i hear they are...I still want to read them I like to torture myself ). He was probably mentioned in some of the books that I did read, but the name didn't stick...actually I'm sure he was...(abby's un-valentine I think there was a mention of claudia havign a 7th grade bf)...but i didn't remember the name

^ I actually kinda liked Josh. He was cute and pretty sweet. I don't think he and Claudia would have been a good couple (I read the book where they get together, but I never read any of the books when they were actually a couple), but he was definitely likeable. Someone mentioned Mallory and Josh, and I think that's a great pair! I could also see him with Jessi.
I could totally see Stacey and Logan together. I don't necessarily think that they'd be a good couple, but I could see them getting together because they're both popular in high school, or something.
Dawn and Logan - hmm, interesting concept. I wouldn't have minded seeing that. I can't explain why, but I also see a Dawn/Charlie pairing (when they're older and it's much less creepy).
Worst pairing ever? Alan and Mary Anne. It would be funny, but absolutely terrible at the same time.

^ Alan and MA is terrible, agree ;D Can't see Dawn and Charlie but haven't thought about it. Can see her with Sam, though, but not sure why. Stacey and Logan doesn't sound good to me, though I can see that he thinks she's pretty in the books that he narrates - Kristy, too. I think he might have a secret thing for her. Maybe the kids weren't so far off in the book where she helps him buy the ring for MA and they think he's cheating....;D

^ Haha, that's interesting! I haven't heard of it or read it, the Dawn/Charlie came out of nowhere for me. Maybe I'm assuming that he'd eventually fall for one of them since he spends all of his time acting as their personal chauffer.

I love this thread! For some reason, I think it's awesome when two characters from a book or television series who have both been there for a long time but have never been romantically connected get together. Does that make sense? I had stopped reading Sweet Valley High for a long time when Ken and Olivia got together but I bought the book anyway. They had both been in the books since the very beginning but had never really crossed paths.

I thought Ken and Olivia were so cute together. I was so mad when they killed her off.

I think they should have gotten rid of Jessica or Lila or Amy. Anyway, to get back on topic, there's a scene in Mary Anne, Sweet 16 where she asks Alan out on a date. It would be interesting if that led to something.

Just reread Logan Likes Mary Anne and noticed the possibility for something between Stacey and Logan. She was the first to meet him and it sounded like she thought he was cute. MA was very jealous, too. I wonder why they didn’t ever bring this up in the rest of the books because they did focus on it a little in this one. Stacey and Logan might have been an interesting relationship.

I remember starting to read a BSC fic set in the future and Mary Anne's last name was Bruno. I groaned because not only is it pretty cliche to have Mary Anne marry Logan but I can't see them lasting as a couple. Later it turned out that she actually married Lewis. I'm not sure if I think they would be good together but it was an interesting twist.

^ I can see that working pretty well. He seems like a sensitive guy and quite understanding, which I think MA might appreciate. I really like Lewis so I might enjoy reading about that relationship. It would be interesting if Logan ended up with Dawn and MA with Lewis - a boyfriend swap ;D

Besides MA and Lewis would both kick ass as a bowling team ;D
