Yeah. I never really forgave Laine for how she treated Stacey in BSC Remember

^ Glad to know I'm not the only one who can't forgive Laine. I also like Jenny and think they make a much bigger deal than necessary about her being a "brat" but I think that's mostly just to be dramatic and they don't actually mind her all that much.

I always thought their idea of "bratty" children was weird. I thought Jenny and Leslie Reames sounded like cute kids, just prissy and not very tough. I thought Haley Braddock could be a HUGE brat, but everyone liked her...go figure.

^ I totally agree. I loved Jenny and Leslie and couldn't stand Haley. I can barely read Little Liar because it makes me so mad but will read about Jenny "spooning chocolate pudding out of a silver goblet" over and over ;D

^ LOL. I'd forgotten about the chocolate pudding in the goblet. That was cute.
I never thought Jenny was so bad. In fact, one of my favorite Jenny books was Mary Anne & Miss Priss. She was so cute, wanting to play on the triplets' kickball team.
As for other favorite characters, I love the Perkins girls, Charlotte, Alan, Cary, Sharon, and Janine.

Sam, Laine, Janine, Alan Grey, Sunny Winslow, Maggie.. I don't think Jenny is that bratty either. I don't think she would be that horrible to sit for, personally. I once sat for a kid who was 8 and both hit on me and wet his pants. That was pretty gross. Jenny would have been a dream child during those days. I also like the Barretts, and their interactions with Dawn, pre-Dewitt. Oh, and I wish they would have done more with Shannon. I know she's a member, but ... barely. I liked how real her family is, with the annoying mother who doesn't get that you are your own person and the absent father and the strange but well behaved siblings. And Astrid. Astrid should have her own series.

^ Agree about Jenny and the Barretts. I don't mind Mrs. Barrett at all and actually like her less when she becomes a Dewitt. Franklin was okay alone and seemed like a good guy but I hate the Barrett/Dewitt constant feud. I also really like Sam, Janine and Alan. ;D

^Me too! Compared to some of the kids I have babysat, Jenny would be easy to babysit. I sat for four girls every Sat. for 8 or 9 hours for a year or two. The two youngest who were 5 and 6 at the time, thought it would be funny to pee in the trash can instead of the toilet. The 6 year old also sat in the middle of the road once and would not move. Jenny would be much better, I should think.
I really liked Alan, Sam, Charlie, Nannie, Mrs. Newton, Jamie, Mimi, and Richard. Cokie was fun to read about (love the part in Mary Anne Misses Logan with her reading the small books and it taking her a month or something).

Plus Jenny had a age and time appropriate name. I remember at one point when I had 4 different Jennys in my group Then later there was a Jen, a Jenn, a Jenny and a Jennifer, and another Jen. Life was confusing. I'm kind of surprised there were no characters named Jason. That was also an absurdly popular name way back then.
I also want to hear more about Amanda and Max. I really liked those kids, and didn't think they were THAT obnoxious. I mean, wasn't part of the problem that Kristy went over to sit and they were *gasp* watching TV and didn't want to go outside? Not that weird to me. If they want to sit around watching Duck Tales, hey, more power to them. (even though I HATED when I would go to someone's house after school to play and thats all anyone wanted to do.)

It was really cute in undercover baby-sitter jenny gave dawn her special stuffed animal.
I think either jeff or the triplets had a friend named jason. Stacey had a friend in tv show named jason too.

^ I loved that part in Undercover Baby-Sitter with the stuffed animals, too. What was it's name? It was cute, from what I remember.
