Yeah, Alexis does sound like the type of roommate I'd try to avoid at all costs..and the thing is, when I first read of her appearance in the book and she gave those rules, I'm like "Oh-kay, I suppose she could be worse" based on how mean the summary on the back of the book said she was. I knew to keep going and the next day when she made conversation I briefly thought, "hmm, maybe she won't be so bad after all." However, that feeling quickly died when she'd make people feel like they had selective memory. The bit with the journal was atrocious and then had the gall to be callous, saying how boring it was, that put her on my bad list, as well as when she got all bossy, bad mouthing Smita and Sarah. Her attempt at apologizing was pretty lame too and I would have been PISSED about the earrings being borrowed without permission..and how explosive she got when Mal tried to work things out..what really did it for me, though, was her destroying the care package and of course her attempt to make Mal a villain didn't help, either..made me realize how manipulative she truly was.
