i'm waiting for an answer to karen brewer and her no-spleen problem. sadly no aging rocker who is missing a spleen currently has a reality show.

oh and by the way because someone mentioned it on lj--i'm not linking this board because i like it too much and want it to be stay small so it doesn't degenerate into something like the bsc lj, which used to have really interesting posts like this board but then got too big and is now not-so-good. |

I love em. They're funny and snarky but not totally bitchy. I hate reading things about the BSC where it sounds like the "fan" hates everything about the series. Plus I am with you on loving the later, "lesser quality" books |

I always feel alone on liking the later books.  yeah, i understand they're crap, but that's why i like them, if that makes sense. sarcasm/snark is ok but i can't really hate on the bsc. i like them too much! |

^ I like the later books too... maybe becasue I haven't read a lot of them, or haven't read them in awhile... and it's refreshing when I DO read them? If that makes any sense? I've read most of the earlier ones soooooooo much. ..or I did...and now rereading them... but anyway...yeah I like the later ones too, and sometimes I feel alone in being a fan of ABby...though I know some on here like her too |

I agree that it is kinda refreshing to read the later books, because I haven't read/found them all, and when I do, I get so excited...and some can really be gems. It's not like all the early books were so spectacular, ya know? (Search For Tigger, Walking Disaster anyone?  ) |
