Some forums I've been on have had rules against reviving old threads, and I was wondering if it's okay to do so here. I always feel awkward bringing back a post about a book that's way back on page 20, but can't help myself

I don't think there is, but to be honest, our mods and admins have not been around in ages so I'm not totally sure.

I've always revived old threads if I want to talk about a certain book, or a certain character. That keeps everyone from having to repeat themselves if they've already made points about the book or the character. I'm always afraid that my clever point will be one that's already been made and everyone will be like "...yeah, we know. We already thought of that." Hehehe.

On this board going back and finding old threads is definitely preferable to starting new ones. In fact, if you start a post for something which was already discussed, chances are that someone will go back and find the old thread for you.

^Yep. I doubt if the mods and admins would object to it if they were around.

We should refer to the admins collectively as Ben Brewer. Everyone SAYS they haunt the fourth floor attic, but no one's really seen them do this.

No, Ben Brewer haunts the 3rd floor and the attic because it's right above the 3rd floor. I almost wish I didn't know that so quickly.

You know, I was reading Mallory and the Mystery Diary today (It's, for some reason, sitting in the bathroom, so I just read some of it) and I didn't realize that the mansion was haunted by both Ben Brewer and the headless ghost that tormented him into being a recluse. I thought it was just old Ben up there.
I wonder how the headless ghost got in there.

read karen's ghost. i think that's the book the story is. anyway, one of ben's best friends died and i think ben could have saved him or something, and that is what drove him insane. it's a pretty sad story.

Ooh. Okay. I'll have to find it on an ebook. I got spotty bits of the story here and there. I just remember Ben Brewer eating fried dandelions.

LOL at the Ben Brewer stuff. Didn't he come down through the chimney? I remember Karen saying that, but I'm not sure if she was just hypothesising, or if that's what really happened. I haven't read Karen's Ghost in years. The things that you remember from these books.... haha.
About the bringing up an old thread, yeah, that's definitely preferrable to starting a new one, as more than likely someone will link you to the old one, as greer said. Even then, no one does it meanly or anything - everyone is so nice here, I love it! ;D
