So I'm Austin Bentley now... *lol* I need help choosing an "image" for him- who can I use as Austin? He isn't described much in the books. I think the best description is that he's good-looking/cute and Cokie dated him once, so he must be hot?
Edit: Never mind. Found someone.

Go to livejournal.com, click 'create account' up in the top right corner and proceed from there with a username that has something to do with your character. Fill everything out as your character. You should ask bscgirl10 if whoever you want is available first, before you make it.
Was there something specific that you needed help with in creating the account?

Ohh... I see. I was confused because most of the RPGs I follow have an action journal (like, private emails, story-like entries where they meet in 'real life'), a discussion journal for players and a journal that acts like these BSC boards, where they all interact directly.
So... the one you posted is like the first and third one I've described?

I may be wrong, but I think the lack of a "community" board is made up for by the fact that players are allowed to comment in each other's "personal" journals.
I'm pretty sure that with stoneybrooklive, characters don't interact with each other in their "personal" journals; it's implied that anything written in the "personal" journals is set to private.
I really like the aspect of commenting on each others' journals, though... I suppose it's something to set us apart. I think if we threw in a "community" board as well, things would start to get really hectic.
But then again, I'm still really new to this, and could be completely off base... ?

I hope I am doing a good job at playing Alan. It is definitely weird playing a guy. xxandra: I also really like that we can comment on the journals. It is a lot of fun. I think the stoneybrook_rpg is the "community" board in a sense. I am having a ball! : ) |

And by the way, you have a few days more experience than me, so I'm newer at it all than you.  sarish, I would never have thought that Alan and MA were being played by the same person.
