You can pre-order this one on Amazon now. The cover is cute. Janine looks so...Janine!
The description: Claudia and her sister, Janine, may as well be from two different planets. Claudia, who pays more attention to her art than her grades, feels she can't compete with her perfect sister. Janine studies nonstop, makes straight As, and even takes college-level courses. The girls are nothing alike, and they can't agree on anything. While Janine devotes all her time to working on her Web site, The Baby-sitters Club is busy with their new summer play group. But when something terrible happens to their grandmother, Mimi, the two sisters discover they're more alike than they originally thought.
That's really funny that she is now working on her WEBSITE.

Janine blogging would be a great fanfic premise. You know, kind of like 'a day in the life of a genius' or something like that. Hey, you never know. Maybe her blog/site would be a huge hit.

Blogging, I love it!
I'm really looking forward to this graphic novel, and seeing Mimi and the summer camp and everything.

I wonder how they're going to illustrate Mimi having a stroke. I know that's one of the major plot points of the book, but seriously...how do you do something like that without traumatizing younger readers?

Hm...that will be interesting to see. I am sure that people who make a career out of illustrating know of ways. I would have no idea what to do, though.

Maybe it will be just Claudia and Janine looking into Mimi's room and their expressions instead of showing Mimi's actual condition i.e. lying on the floor? That's a good point, I think showing Mimi "sick" and in the hospital might be too sad.

I can't wait until this comes out. I'm a little sad that this will be the last BSC graphic novel!

Umm if you don't want anything in a book spoiled, don't click on the thread about it.
Claudia and Mean Janine has never been one of my favorites, so I was disappointed that they chose it over Phantom Phone Calls. But Raina did an amazing job, of course.

So how did she end up dealing with the sick Mimi part? That seemed to be everyone's concern.

She did draw Mimi fallen on the floor, and them visiting her in the hospital. I didn't find it disturbing, but then again, I'm not seven.
