Technically, the rules that were set out by the people who started this board say that all non BSC avatars are not allowed.

Technically, the rules that were set out by the people who started this board say that all non BSC avatars are not allowed. I think that ALL non-BSC related avatars should be banned, since that IS the rule. But I think as long as the animated avatar IS BSC related it shouldn't be a problem. The rules of this forum don't say anything about animated avatars, so I don't really think that should be a problem, given that the avatar follows regulations and guidelines. (I agree that some animated avatars make me dizzy, though!) |

I am somewhat attached to Abby the receptionist, but even if I weren't, I'd say that if we're going to point out one rule, I think all of them should be followed. I see a lot of posts that don't further any discussion, but this is the first time I've said anything about it.

I agree. Animated avatars really bother my eyes.
I also agree with lilafowler that other board rules should be respected. I am sick of "LOL" and "I agree" posts, internet slang, double posting, lack of capitalization, misspelled words, and the general slaughter of the English language. The board rules are fairly simple. People need to follow them.

I checked with the board rules and it turns out that LOL is accepted but otherwise I agree with what you are saying.A lot of us ( Its only fair if I put myself in it) haven't been following the rules and we should start. |
