I just read this Friends Forever book a few days ago, and I loved it! Before I read this book, I was more "neutral" on Cary -I didn't really like or dislike him. Now, however, he is probably one of my favorite guys in the BSC books. I really liked the part where Kristy thought he had been kicked out of his last school for hacking the computers after she read his journal, but it turned out that it was his novel in-progress. This is my favorite in the Friends Forever series. Anyone else agree?

This is the first one that I read from the FF's, and I haven't read it in a while, but I remember really liking it! I also really liked that part. I really like Cary (but that's partly from xxandra's great portrayal of him on our RPG, and I'm not afraid to admit it!)

I love, love this book. It's tied with MA's Revenge as my favourite FF book. I'm a bit of a sucker for the 'school drama' books, like 'Dawn and the School Spirit War,' even though Dawn and MA really annoyed me in that one. I also like when the BSC members don't always have things go smoothly for them, and I also adore the K/C relationship. Their interaction is always a lot of fun to read and I'll admit that I wanted them to get together. How sad that they didn't.

^Kristy thought he'd been to jail but it turned out he was writing a story.
I though this one was ok. I'm not a Cary Retlin fan so this one was pretty ho-hum for me. I thought there was some chemistry between Kristy and Cary. That would have been an interesting pair.

I think this book would have been MUCH more interesting if it turned out to actually be Cary's journal rather than a novel he was writing.

I liked the book itself, but the whole censorship issue- it felt like I was reading all of he previous books about censorship. But agreed, this is an otherwise good book.

Yeah, censorship was something they already did in Library Mystery. And the whole Ted plot was very reminiscent of The Cat Ate My Gymsuit, although since Ann and Paula were close friends I bet Paula didn't mind. ;D

The Cary/Kristy shippers bible I assume? Definately saw some hints in here for it, maybe more for Kristy liking him though. I knew the notebook thing wasn't true, but I though cary may have written it to trick Kristy. Mrs Dow is so infuriating! Blah.

^ I thought Mrs. Dow was infuriating as well. I didn't like her. I'm glad her daughter, Merrie, took a stand against her.

Marathoning the FFs, and Ellen Miles's Kristy is someone I would definitely hang out with:

Kristy has no problem with nudity, eh? Reminds me of #4, "she wears clothes only because it's against the law to go to school naked." ;D

LOL, I'd forgotten that quote. When I was reading the BSC books as a kid, one of my classmates thought of herself as a Kristy and told our teacher that was the only reason she wore clothes. Our teacher wasn't overly familiar with the BSC and totally flipped out
