Now it's time for the BSCs token beauty icon: Ms. Stacey McGill...
Has anyone noticed that - especially in the later series - Stacey's once New York city-based fashion sense has turned into some type of country bumpkin style. (Think: Stacey McGill...Matchmaker? Honey, that outfit is not NYC chic at all. In fact, it reminds me of clothes that girls-without-fashion-sense in the small town I grew up in would wear in 1997).
Not that there is anything wrong with it... it's just not the famous 'Stacey style' that they are always bragging about in the series.
Stacey McGill, Supersitter ... Um, Stacey. Why are you wearing those 'Mum-sey' jeans, top, and let's not even start with the loafters.
And when they cut her hair short, she lost it. She totally went from 13 to 25. She should stop with the perm and rock the wavy-haired-look, at least if we transformed her into 2008 she would have a lot of potential.
Stacey, The Math Whiz... Okay, I understand that a 13 year old girl wants to dress up for her math competition. In fact, she actually looks good. Kind of reminds me of a little version of (what I imagine) her mom to look like. But she's definitely turned granny style.
Put it together, Stacey. If anyone can do it, it's you...

I agree! when She Got the Haircut it was so ugly! After that she Totally lost her sense in style! That is the worst Haircut i have seen on one of the sitters (except MA)

Well, No i am not a big fan of short hair, for me. For some people short hair is really cute! ( one of my best friends has short hair and it looks good on her) But i don't think it looked to good for MA and Stacey, at least on their covers.

Mary Anne's could have looked cuter, it's not bad on the Fire at MA's, but anyway, back to Stacey, I agree her look completely changed, although I don't mind her on the cover of BSC in the USA!

(in my opinion MA should have cut it shoulder length)
What happened to Stacey was that once someone noticed that perms are out and a lot of her outfits relay on leggings and sparkly sequined sweatshirt, they needed to update her- so they took a look at what girls wore in 1997 and said uh huh! This is what Stacey is now.

Nope.
My favorite Stacey covers were Stacey's Choice and Stacey and the Mystery Money. I thought she looked so grown-up and sophisticated.

Stacey is pretty but she should of never cut her hair! When I saw that, I was bummed.

In which book did she cut her hair? I saw it for the first time on Stacey's Ex-Boyfriend and I hate it.

It's like chin length on Ex-Boyfriend, Stolen Hearts, and Stacey's Movie.

It's like chin length on Ex-Boyfriend, Stolen Hearts, and Stacey's Movie. Oh. I looked through the BSC books, and on Ex-Boyfriend, I noticed that her hair IS short. No wonder I didn't realize that since I don't read the later books often.

I actually loved Mary Anne's cute pixie bob with the bangs. I liked it best on the covers of Mary Anne and Little Ms Priss and Mary Anne and the Little Princess...it was the cutest there and truly suited her sweet, quiet personality. True, I like Stacey's honey-colored hair either long or shoulder-length with bangs. Both Mary Anne and Stacey had wonderful thick, straight hair.

Stacey’s hair is described as dark blond in book 60, I like that combination with her blue eyes. I imagined Stacey as quite pretty and I don’t understand why she perms her hair. I think my favorite cover of her is on book 76.
