When I was younger (much as I would never admit it to anyone) I was very much like Kristy. I attempted a fan fic in high school and based what Kristy was feeling on my own angsty 17 year old self. Now that I started re-reading the books I realize I've become sort of a caricature of Dawn. I'm a vegetarian/environmentalist hippie-ish type person who is getting ready to move to California (I'm here, now, moving back [to the the Midwest albeit] for a couple of weeks, then back to California, etc.) Reading the books now I realize that Dawn eats everything that I eat and I keep stopping and thinking "wait why is this weird? (c'mon though, is hummus really that strange? Maybe in 1992 it was... My hair is still short and red/blonde though, I don't intend on going "white blonde to my waist" any time soon.

I was and still am probably most like Mary Anne - have dark hair and dark eyes, short, love to read, love old romantic films, was very shy as a kid, very emotional, like studying English in school, stubborn (;D)... But one thing that is a big difference between us is her fear of the stage.. not me, I love acting and performing!
I guess that makes me kinda smilar to Dawn as well. I think she enjoyed acting in Starring the BSC (she played Wendy I think). Also I don't necessarily wear what's in fashion all the time, I wear whatever seems 'me.' Also like Dawn, I was hurt a lot by my first love (well her first love was more her first crush, Travis).
Also as a kid, along with Mary Anne, I was a bit like Mal - loved to write and wanted to be a children's author ;D

PRESIDENT - KRISTY THOMAS - You are a bossy, flatchested lesbian. You coach a softball team and carry your gym whistle with you everywhere you go. No one really likes you, even your best friend, but they put up with you because you're the only one with enough brains to make decisions. They'd be lost without you. Kristy, you're the greatest! I am a combo Kristy/Claudia.. I LOVE ART, therefore.. I even am doing an course History of Art, and am going to study Museology next year.. I am short, LOVE sports, although not doing that much nowadays (busy..) So watching it on the TV instead with the homework.. (and ehm, I even beat a girl up, not badly, at the highschool, she deserved it though.. )

When i was younger I looked more like Stacey, thick blonde hair ...not blue eyes, but hazel..but still. (I think my niece whose 14 now would make a good Stacey ). Personality wise...probably a lot like Mary anne... I cry so easily, and i love animals. BUt i also love to read, ...not horse stories though Lol...I love mysteries and suspense and that stuff like Claudia...and i can draw a bit too if i do say so myself. I also love sports...however I'm just not athletic...at all...but I still love them!!!

I'm a combo of Mary Anne, Mallory, and Shannon. Like Mary Anne, I was shy growing up and I'm still tender-hearted. Like Mal, I love to read and at one time wanted to write children's books. And like Shannon, I was kind of an overachiever and was involved in a wide variety of clubs when I went to school.

I hear ya, dawnomite! I can relate to Dawn so much, I have loads in common with her now (though as a child I was MUCH more of a Kristy). Actually I'm fairly MAish as well, with all the crying over silly things. hee. But I read about Dawn's food and I'm like what the hell is the problem?! Then I remember how much older these books are and actually, my sister spotted something in a BSC book (she can post and share which one cause I don't remember) when Dawn is eating tofutti ice cream or something and both of us were like "they had that back then?!?!?!" So I'm with Dawn on the vegetarianism thing and I guess kinda with the hair thing (my hair is just a few inches about my waist, but it's brown!)

I used to be a weird mix of Mary Anne and Kristy--loud and never shut up, but overly sensitive and quiet at times. Now I'm more of a Shannon--the one always in the background.

^ That's kind of how I am too - not loud but a lot like Kristy in other ways but also like MA in being too sensitive, especially to criticism. I'm not sure Shannon is really in the background (other than having no books) but I've become more like that over time, too.

I was definitely not Stacey or Claudia. I think my homelife was pretty normal though, maybe like Jessi's or Claudia's. I dressed like Kristy and I tried to be like her when I babysat - fun and adventurous. Reading these books when I was 10, 11, 12, I don't think I ever really believed that Stacey didn't just sit around and watch MTV when she was supposed to be babysitting. Kristy, on the other hand, probably didn't want to leave the neighborhood kickball game she organized while babysitting. I wanted to be like Kristy!

^ Those are a lot of the things I had in common with them too. ;D I didn't think that about Stacey but just couldn't relate to the "sophistication" and "coolness". I'm finding a lot more to relate to now, though, as I'm seeing different aspects of her personality the more I read the books. I think having a little in common with all of the sitters is what makes it so hard to choose my favorite and what makes me like them all. ;D

Urgh I used to be a total Kristy - a tomboy and always trying to start my own clubs and boss everybody around. Now it's hard to say - probably more like Dawn in terms of personality and maybe dress style but I am the most unhealthy smoker/alcoholic/junkfood addict/stoner you'll ever meet! And lookswise we couldn't be more different - I'm more like Claudia I guess cus I am half Asian (Filipina) but my hair isn't black by any means. ...yet I always get Mary-Anne on any personality test I ever take! Someone should do one where your results are given in a pie-chart or percentage of each of the members.

Except for the sports thing, I am very much Abby, both appearance and personality. This one website had all the UK covers and I swear their rendering of Abby is a spitting image of how I look today. Plus I'm constantly joking around, though I'm not a big fan of puns. I just have to have a good quip about everything. The whole big/loud personality is true too, as I talk very fast. My siblings are passionate about music. Plus, yknow, I'm a jew:) I swear when I read her books today I feel like I'm reading a Mary Sue. I'm also very much like Claudia; art major, dense, loves wild and funky clothes though I could never pull it off like she can. Unlike her however, art doesn't come nearly as easily as it does for her. The ideas do, but it always seemed like the process was less painful for her. But like her, I've been told by teachers that I do have talent and potential yet I lack discipline:P I was a total Mallory in middle school, and I still have some dorky tendencies. I was also bullied to the point of leaving school (though I did the home schooling thing in 8th grade) I find myself relating more and more to Stacey, in terms of boy craziness and thinking I'm more sophisticated than I actually am. Her boy-craziness (emphasis on the crazy) is sadly relatable, and I've been just as deluded over boys who were just not interested in me. While I'm not 'chic' like she is, I have that same longing to be part of the 'cool' crowd though that's never really happened.
