I just finished Kristy's Worst Idea and Claudia called Kristy to come over and help her with homework/get Janine to stop bugging her. There was a whole chapter of the two of them just hanging out in Claudia's room.
I know Kristy was just in it for herself in Claudia Kishi, Live from WSTO, but I still liked how she got Charlie to take Claudia to the radio station and was with her a lot throughout the book. It was just after Stacey left the group and Claudia was sad and needed someone to hang out with.

Mary Anne and Stacey. We saw some of what they're like together in the Sea City books, and I could see them becoming better friends in high school.

Sparklymouse, thanks, I'll have to re-read those two books. I had totally forgotten about WSTO.
Starrynight, after all their time both fun and fights in Sea City, MA and Stacey should have had more of a friendship in the later books.
I know this isn't exactly relevant but I would have also enjoyed reading about Anna/Shannon hanging out.

Anna and Shannon did seem like good friends.

I picked Mary Anne and Stacey for the reasons stated above. Also, they both love NY and I think both like movies.

I actually picked Kristy and Dawn because I can see them being friends if MA wasn't in the middle. They both are go getters and would be supportive of the others causes, but they wouldn't have the same causes. Just an interesting thought.
