I always liked it when Claudia got something other than pretzels or crackers for Dawn and Stacey. I was just reading one where she bought them Cheddar Ranch Veggie Nuggets (or something) from the health food store. Dawn and Stacey liked it, but Kristy called them Mildew Munchies which cracked me up.
But as someone mentioned, I guess 'crackers' could be Wheat Thins or something. I just always pictured saltines, I guess.
Oreos are delicious. Especially the double stuf.

I was reading Mary Anne and the Library Mystery yesterday, and when SMS has that fire alarm, Claudia takes a "mushy" looking candy bar (ew) out of her bag and offers it around while they're outside. When they go to her house later, she gives them popcorn. And later at the meeting, she passes around chocolate-covered pretzels, plain pretzels, and jelly beans. That girl was incredibly generous with her food!

Reading this thread makes me wonder if anyone else has tried the new Three Musketeers Mint. Usually not a fan of three musketeers but those were pretty good. (I thought)

^ I think they're pretty new. My mom (Claudia jr. when it comes to candy ;D) found them the other day at the store while checking out. ;D

I'm definitely a Claudia when it comes to junk food. I love it and could eat it all day. These days I really have to watch my intake of it in order to maintain my figure.

I think they're really old pretty much everywhere in the US, not just Chicago.
