^That's what I was thinking. I like well lit places. I turn on all the lights in my living room and it's still not bright enough for me. I'm also always cold, so the draftiness would bother me. That's the kind of house I would like to visit but not live there.

I think the california house seems the best for light. Or the barn, with it's open floorplan. I actually LOVE the sound of the barnhouse.

I think I would absolutely love the California house. I would like to see the finished barnhouse.

^ It is, from what I remember. I know Mrs. Porter's house is. Hmmm, Morbidda the Witch as a neighbor and the ghost of Ben Brewer might be reasons to not want to live in the mansion. ;D I found something in MA Saves the Day today. It goes on in several places about how small Dawn's farmhouse is. I don't remember it being described as small (other than short doors) in other books. Am I wrong or was this an inconsistency?

hmm... i think it's small, yet larger than ma and richard's house. we know it has at least four bedrooms though. i think maybe richard and ma's house only had three, since it was mentioned that jeff couldn't have his own room in the farmhouse, whereas he couldn't in the bradford court house. i think maybe the farmhouse had a lot of rooms, but they were all small?

^ Maybe that explains it. Did later books mention a kitchen table, though? Maybe that's just how I picture the house and I don't know where I get these mental pictures from. ;D Saves the Day said, though, that the kitchen was so tiny you couldn't even fit a table in there.

^ There are a lot of inconsistencies in that book. It almost seems like it's part of a different series. All of the earliest ones kind of do to me, sometimes.

I would want to live in Kristy's mansion because then I could have my own room!

^ I think most of the girls (except Mallory and possibly Jessi) had their own room, though. I know MA and Dawn separated after Wicked Stepsister. At least I think they did....

I think Jessi had her own room. I remember that Jessi and Becca had to share a room before Squirt was born in the Remember SS, but I think they have separate ones in the series...
Yeah, MA and Dawn have separate rooms after that book.

^ I was thinking Jessi had her own room, too, but remembered from the Remmber SS the same sharing story.

Just was thinking, were Shannon and Logan's houses ever really described? I assume that Shannon's was fairly nice and large since it's in Watson's neighborhood but don't remember much ever being said about it.
