My favorite/best teachers were always the dorkier ones, so I choose Mallory. I think Kristy would be too much like the teachers I hated. I swear the most popular teachers were all members of the football coaching staff. They were very aggressive and buddied around with the popular crowd because they knew them outside of class. I preferred my sweet old lady English teacher who had no idea what activities anyone belonged to and once spent an entire class period standing in front of everyone with her zipper down and her shirt tail sticking out of it.
For younger kids, maybe Jessi? Not necessarily in dance classes either.

I voted for Mary Anne awhile ago, but never explained why. I can see her as a grade school teacher. She'd be very kind, but I think she'd be able to take control and discipline if she had to (I don't know how she'd fare with older kids, though.) I've been impressed by how she handled difficult kids before in the series.

Yeah, I agree. I think grown-up Mary Anne would remind me a lot of some of the teachers I had in grade school. Kind and sweet, but also very firm. She would never stand for kids picking on other kids and things like that. I think Kristy would also be sort of the same--very no-nonsense--but would tend to pick favorites more or get impatient with certain kids.

I could see Kristy teaching any class especially Phys. Ed, especially gym, Mary Anne teaching Family Studies/Home Ec., Claudia teaching art, Stacey teaching math, Dawn teaching biology maybe, Mallory teaching creative writing or English and Jessi teaching ballet at an art school.
